My husband and I stayed here on our way to Florence and we could not have been happier with this little piece of paradise right here on earth. Upon arrival we were greeted by the manager and chef who kindly offered to let us stow our luggage while we wandered around the other villages nearby. When we came back, the...

We went here after our Verona wedding and we were not disappointed. We had the little separate house on the grounds. Although we found it quite hard to find we were necessarily the sharpest after the wedding! However we were easily relaxed back into normality with a wonderful cocktail and a reLax by the wonderful pool. The room was quite...

We stayed here for a couple of nights in early April and were lucky with around 22 degrees (although of course it felt hotter than that!) and mostly sunshine. If you like achingly beautiful countryside with olive groves and vineyards aplenty; delicious and creative food with a homely yet modern feel; this is the place for you. The old farmhouse...

We recently spent three nights at this hotel, while overall the stay was good - we spent the whole time feeling somewhat in the way by the owners. The hotel itself is situated in beautiful spot, the grounds are lovely and the rooms are nice. If you were there in summer, I'd imagine it would be amazing to come back...

This is a beautiful 8 bedroom boutique hotel in a perfect and very central location in Tuscany. The hotel is truly lovely as are the grounds. We would come back again. Unfortunately, there were two problems that kept me from rating this a perfect 5. When we checked in, we were placed in their standard room, not the deluxe room...

This was our base for three days of exploring the Tuscan countryside. It was quick and easy to get wherever we were going. The room was large and comfortable. The staff was always friendly. We had a couple of bottles of their tasty wine our first night and a great dinner.

This is the most fabulous small hotel. My husband & I stayed here for a week & it was just fantastic. We loved the location, the contemporary decor, outside space, the food (we had dinner every evening) and the service was excellent - friendly & efficient. A real wow!

We had our honeymoon break centred at this hotel and had an amazing time. From the welcome from Dario, to champagne in the room, to dinner, the gorgeous house wines to the general attentiveness of staff was superb! We had a minor hiccup with food one night but how it was managed was exemplary! We loved every minute of our...

Our family of four loved our stay at Poggio Piglia. It is in a scenic country location, with beautiful, aromatic landscaping. The decor is an interesting mix of rustic farmhouse and modern, and air conditioning was a plus. The staff were all professional and excellent. We arrived between regular meal hours, but the owner went out of her way to...

My family and I visited Poggio Piglia for our second year in a row and absolutely love it again!!! This is the most magical place ever. When you walk on to the grounds it smells like the fresh lavender and rosemary growing around the property. The hosts at the resort: Paolo, Petra, Dario are just amazing. Words can not describe...
