The hotel is very good and has a great location near the center of the town, the hotel has clean modern classic rooms. The room service is open till 10 pm which is good and the view is nice. On the other hand the hotel staff are very helpful and sweet.

Wonderful experience! My wife and I were on a hiking vacation and stayed at the Grand Hotel Savoia in lovely Cortina 'Amprezzo. It has an impresssive facade, flowers in boxes of a multi-story regal building, and an actual red carpet between planters. The room was spacious and lovely. The staff especially polite and competent. With all my thanks for them,...

Our first stay in Cortina d'Ampezzo in July 2016. This hotel was very very good, but there are just a couple of things that could be improved on, in our opinion. Pros: Good location - just at the end of the main central pedestrianised centre of Cortina, supermarket, shops, restaurants etc within a couple of minutes walk. Beautifully appointed hotel...

Recently we spent 3 nights at the Grand Hotel Savoia while on a hiking vacation. The hotel is modern, clean, and comfortable. Rooms are very good sized. The bathroom area itself is nice with nice amenities, but the doors which led to our bathroom are awful at best--and at worst, dangerous. We kept ours open all the time to prevent...

The hotel has been refurbished and the rooms are well appointed . Funny though the air conditioning did not work , so we kept the windows open. A little loud if you face the street with the windows open. The Spa / pool area is wonderful and the sauna's yes plural and the Steam's , yes plural are great. As...

This Hotel claims to be 5* but falls short on several key elements. It's all in the Details!!!. We have stayed in many luxury Hotels both on Ski fields & all over the world & unfortunately the Hotel whilst Grand lacks the Italian warmth. Maybe Management should frequent other establishments in their level in order to truly experience 5*. The...

Dear Melbourne, We remain astonished by your comments. We think you do not have a pretty view of Cortina and italy. it is not the Grand Hotel Savoia but your feeling. Fortunately we have many return and regular guests who love Cortina and appreciate our italian service.

I stayed 3 nights, and it was very nice. Very elegant, stylish hotel with a good service. Breakfast with everything you may need. Nice rooms although the standard room might be a bit bigger. The ski bus stop just in front of the entrance. There is a wellness (I haven't checked, but my companions said the saunas were very very...
