An old hotel (50s?) with a certain charm with its tiny tin-walled lifts and creaky wooden stairs. We even had a proper key instead of a card! Rooms were old fashioned but comfortable and the bathroom good despite a small shower head which looked like it might not be effective but was fine. The room was slightly overheated which we...

Cortina d'Ampezzo is renowned to be expensive, and therefore this hotel is an excellent find for people who do want to ski in Cortina, but don't want to pay "Cortina prices"! The ladies on reception were very helpful, and breakfast was fine (after a couple of days it does get a bit "samey", but it's ok). Location was good -...

Everything is pretty old and not maintained. Breakfast is a bit basic, no toast and eggs, poor friut offer. Free Wifi but very poor signal. Limited parking spaces on the street infront of hotel (for 10 cars), hotel parking costs 15€/day. Sorage just for skis, no skiboot dryer. Overall the hotel is far from 4-star standard which probably got when...

Spent 4 nights at the hotel in February 2016 when visiting Cortina. The views from the hotel are stunning, especially the rooms at the back that overlook the main mountain range. Rooms were a good size and very warm, which was nice after coming back from a day out on the snow. There wasn;t much, if any, soundproofing in the...

Convenient location: 10 minutes walk from one cable car to ski slopes, 15 minutes from another, 10 minutes walk from town centre. Shared bijou twin room with friend in older part of hotel, clean, tidy, ample clothes storage, big hot radiator. Bathroom with full facilities though shower head had to be held, flopped when in operation. Breakfast excellent, fried/scrambled eggs...

Be careful. I made a reservation through Hotels.com for a 4 night long weekend. It was FREE Cancellation. We decided to change resort and cancelled it while was still free to do so. However, the Hotel Venezia had charged the FULL amount to my Credit Card from day 1 and its not capable to return it back. Hotels.com doesn't take...

We stayed here in January 2016 when we went to watch the Ladies Downhill World Cup Race. It was a nice stay, but we would probably try somewhere else next time. Pros: 1) easy walk into the centre of town 2) you can get a taxi up to the race area for about 12 euros 3) reception staff are very...

Exceptional service with a smile, perfect location. Looks like it was remodeled within the past 1-3 years just based on the fixtures, appointments. Breakfast was fantastic. Huge selection including eggs & pancheta, and some of the best fruit salad I've ever had on a breakfast buffet. Would love to provide some balance with areas for improvement, but give up on...
