Food very, very poor & I was charged a single supplement for single accommodation - my room being a box room! In addition, I paid extra for a ‘side sea view’, but unfortunately my single room also overlooked the public toilets & the community refuse bins! The well furnished public rooms give a very false impression of what it is really like. I would never, ever return to this hotel. Complaints to the tour operator have brought minimal results. .

We stayed in the Palace Hotel this week as part of an Arena Holidays group The hotels public rooms are nicely furnished and spotlessly clean as are the bedrooms. The restaurant provides an excellent breakfast Buffett and tasty , plentiful evening Meals. There is a very good wine list that has plenty of local wines at reasonable prices All the staff a friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated along the seafront and it is a 10-15 minute walk to the town centre. An excellent place to stay. .

This is our second visit to Hotel Palace. We last visited in 2019 and would have returned sooner but for COVID. It is said you should never return to the same location as it is never as good. This could not be further from the truth. Our recent visit completely lived up to our expectations. Friendly and efficient staff, delicious meals with a local twist, immaculate rooms and sunshine, what is not to like. We hope to return next year. Thanks to all at Hotel Palace.

Oh my god, what a pleasant surprise Once we checked in, we were told our room was upgraded We stayed in room 92, perfect oceanfront, and it was great all around The sound of the ocean was calming and soothing and brought us back to Maui Yes it was like staying on the Lanai overlooking kanapali beach Please check this out on your own next time in Diano Marina The room was also modern , perfectly clean with a great shower Breakfast was also good with a great variety of food served buffet style, with an attentive service that was helping the customers navigating the new Covid rules NEXT TIME in the ponente Ligure I will be staying at Palace Hotel in Diano Marina for sure GRAZIE

I am a passionate of hotels and some friends had previously stayed here for the week end. We were passing by and decided to stop for lunch. It was excellent. The hotel extremely well kept. Elegantly furnished in a classic way. You are in front of the sea and especially in these winter months you will a super view. The food was very good, the staff were attentive and professional. If you want a solid choice, where you will be pampered by a good management, this will be the place!

Travelled here with a tour company for 5 days. Arrived very late to a welcoming staff and sandwiches. Room was excellent , good facilities, air conditioned and spotlessly clean. The public rooms were the same, well furnished and again not a speck of dust anywhere.Food was excellent, typical of the region and whilst not always to my own personal taste could not be faulted for quantity, quality and presentation. Service was equally good. All in all an excellent place to stay and I wish I could have spent longer there.

Travelled with Arena Holidays for a 5 day break. We arrived very late in the evening, but were greeted with very welcome sandwiches, as it was far too late for dinner. The Hotel is in a fantastic location on the sea front with amazing views, immaculately clean, and nothing too much trouble for staff, especially the waiters. We had a 7 course banquet on one of the nights we were there

Lovely location on seafront. Nice spacious Sea View room (we paid extra for this). Hotel furnished to a good standard and very clean throughout. We took advantage of the free Hotel Bicycles – these were well maintained and of a good standard. Food was of good standard, although main courses came with only one small portion of vegetables – no rice and only had potatoes on one occasion. Water with meal cost €3.70 a bottle which we thought was expensive – as was the wine. Evening meal was served at 19:30 when all guests were expected to be present. We complained hat we felt rushed on first night and the owner (Elisabeth) mentioned that we were ‘Late’ – we had arrived at 19:45. The owner gave an introductory talk on first morning in which she said that she would like guests to vacate the restaurant and continue their conversation in the bar rather than stay in restaurant and hold up waiting staff. Clearly, she was running this like a tight ship – it was almost like an old seaside B&B / Guest House in this respect. The Hotel’s beach was not open (no loungers / parasols) and we had to pay for towels to use on the beach (Sea was warm and we swam a few times). Overall a nice holiday and lovely hotel

Thank you very much Clive and Jan for the review. Many things were very positive and it is nice to see that you actually were pleased with your stay. As far as concerns the rice, in Italy you easier find rice as a first course, like risotto. You traveled with a group and our request was due to the very late arrival, earlier breakfasts and early departure. We simply asked, after you had finished your dinner, if you could continue the conversations in the Bar Lounge or in the living room in order to allow our servants to prepare for the next day's breakfast.

A well-appointed small hotel at the water's edge, with views around he bay. The management and staff were particularly pleasant and helpful, and table service at dinner was treat, as buffet dining seems to becoming increasing popular. There was plenty to choose from for all tastes from the varied local menu. A comprehensive wine list included many regional choices.

I can only agree with the review left by marcopolo02 recently. This is a lovely hotel, far better than the Reale one used by Arena in Montecatini. Pleased we came here second. We didn’t pay extra for the sea view, but the room and facilities, meals etc. were very good.
