We spent there two days for a business meeting. Very nice hotel in an old castle with a big garden, lovely outside grill restaurant and a big pool. Been in the tower suite, really awesome. Great 360 degrees view. Friendly service, a good stay 40 minutes drive from Milan.

Castello di Casiglio's accommodation and grounds - meets the description you get on the hotel's website, though maintenance seems somewhat tired in the grounds and some areas. Alas, the negative remarks of quite a few reviewers proved to be equally correct when we stayed there for three nights. Most of the staff members' indifference and certainly the events, parties and...

We arrived at the hotel Thursday evening and first impressions were very good and were given keys to our rooms (we went with another couple) and the rooms couldn't have been more different. Our room (lucky us) was Room 8, very spacious absolutely no complaints. Theirs on the other hand (Room 6) was very small, not big enough to swing...

What a nice place this is... Great estate and friendly staff. I was staying in the separate villa which is connected with the main building via an underground corridor. Finding the room (001) is a challenge as you have to take different elevators to get to the corridor. The room is characteristic for the type of hotel, yet modern and...

I stayed in Hotel Castello Di Casiglio for two nights in September 2014. My room was not in the main building the but on the top floor of the adjacent Villa Elena. The room was of average size, with sloping ceilings and unusual windows. The main window being a Velux roof window (which was quite high up), plus some smaller...

Only stayed one night but no complaints. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was fine. Very nice location and not too expensive for a hotel of this standard. I'm sure I will stay here again.

Absolutely perfect luxury location for visiting the Monza F1 Grand Prix, less than 30min on SS36 gets you there. Hotel is a superb building and outside grounds and pool. Great big room and bathroom. A fantastic venue for a wedding and is used regularly by locals for this, 3 wedding receptions in two nights but had no effect on our...

Threw a dart on trip advisor around Como and got lucky. We are a family of four with small children that needed a place to stop before moving on and had a great time. Clean room, great location of room, very pleasant and generous surroundings with lots of well kept green areas. Had a bite at the outdoor grill and...

What a great time we had, check in was smooth - be ready to surrender your passport!, we stayed in room 101 in the annex, room had a balcony and was clean. The hotel grounds were splendid! There were 2 weddings going on but they did not interfere with us. We did not use the restaurant, but if you go...

Beautiful gardens, great food, comfortable beds and friendly staff ...what more could one want. Wanting to give my Australian travel friends an interesting and unforgettable overnight stay on the way north to Switzerland, this hotel fitted the bill perfectly.
