You are in the very center of the centro istorico, nevertheless easy to be reached by car (which you have to park in one of the public blue zones for 3€ per day). Small and intimate hotel, very quiet. Rooms are individually furnished, therefore not very up to date. Service perfect. Prices not cheap but for Italian circumstances ok.

I feel like we chose the perfect hotel for our brief stay in Ferrara. Hotel De Prati is only about two blocks from the castle, and its location enabled us to easily walk to all of the attractions we had hoped to visit. The people at the front desk were efficient, friendly, and helpful. The room was very clean, and... More

This is a charming hotel that is extremely well located. The rooms are clean and a reasonable size for a European hotel. The breakfast is very nice and the staff are friendly and professional You could not ask for a better location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

we stayed in the apartment off site and had a huge room- a suite in fact. Full kitchen with eating area and bedroom. Spotlessly clean! We bought groceries and made a meal in the suite but there are ample restaurants nearby. Convenient location to the train station(23 minute walk) but really convenient to the sites of the old city (across... More

When you come out of the train at Ferrara station, your first thought is to jump back on and get as far as possible out of town. Within a few minutes, thanks to your taxi driver, you emerge from the public housing and ugly modern edifices to the Centro Storico, or Old Town. The castle of the Este family is... More

We stayed here for 3 days in July. The hotel is on a side street only a few minutes walk from the main locations in Ferrara. The rooms are slightly quirky but characterful with good aircon and WiFi. We had a good size room but there was no safe and no drawers just hanging space in the wardrobe. Staff were... More

With only a 3min- walk to Piazza Cattedrale this for sure is the best located hotel in Ferrara. From the moment of arrival excellent reception staff gives you the feeling of being most welcome. This is one of the typical italian small downtown 3star- hotels with cosy rooms that will need some refurbishment- sooner or later ;-) Breakfast is o.k.... More

What a marvellous little hotel. In a converted palazzo, wood beam ceiling in our room certainly wasn't from this century, nor the last. Charming. Pleasantly decorated in the public rooms with the work of local artists, the breakfast was quite nice and all of the staff could not have been more helpful. We had some superb dining experiences solely due... More
