This is a lovely, old school residence conveniently located halfway between the beach and the historic center (a 10 minute walk each). The rooms are basic but have a historic charm, with high ceilings and quirky furniture in the hallways. The parking lot is convenient and the terrace and gardens are lovely. Breakfast was outstanding and the entire staff was so friendly, caring, and fastidiously safe during our pandemic visit.

We knew this place had been a monastery which was part of the charm when booking it. It also had a pool which we thought our baby would enjoy so we booked here. We couldnt use the pool due to bad weather but it looked fine- it was nice and small. Hotel was in a good location, a short walk away from the old town and the walk to the beach was fine, about 15 minutes I think. The reception here was friendly. Breakfast was great with plenty of healthy choices for the bikers! An added bonus was the play room for the children. our baby loved it!

I was 15 when I stayed here on a school trip I am now 71. I met a lovely local boy called Leon Zavaroni ? We kept in contact for awhile . If anyone in the hotel knows him tell him I hope he is well and happy . This was a lovely hotel then and I remember every day Spaghetti ,Ravioli Minestrone .At 15 I was to young to appreciate the area but from what I can remember it was lovely and I would love to go back .

I attended a buffet dinner at the hotel. Exquisite food and personal attentive to every need. Experience to try. The hotel has a beautiful garden and swimming pool. Beautiful place to spend holidays, whether you want to do the sea or hiking in the beautiful Ligurian hinterland

We stayed here for 3 nights and just enjoyed our stay here. The folks there are just so friendly, nice and casual even though they work long hours. Parking becomes a bit tight when the place is full, but somehow everyone manages the parking without a problem. Our room was small but comfortable. The heating worked well and the windows in the room as well as the bathroom open up to a nice view and morning sun. The place is a short 5 minutes walk to Finalbolgo for your outdoor gear shopping and small cosy osterias. Its a bit of a walk (15 minutes) to the beach, but its winter so we didn't bother much about that. Breakfast was a good spread of croissants, bread, ham, cheese, fresh as well as preserved fruits, cereals and 2 great coffee machines. It would be nice if the breakfast place is done up more elegantly, but its good enough. Overall, its a nice place and we'll stay here again when we visit Finale Ligure.
