First of all, the location is absolutely perfect - opposite Formia train station. Only a few minutes walk you find yourself in town centre, shops, marina, beach. The hotel is very comfortable lift also to upper floors. Breakfast room is clean, with a wide range of hot & cold beverages, and Continental breakfast food. One of the proprietors - Roberto is very kind respectful and helpful. Always made sure our room was warm and that we had everything we needed. We fully recommend this hotel. Excellent service, always with a smile.
The hotel is across the street from the train station. It is within easy walking distance of the downtown area, but it is about a mile from the beach. The hotel staff were friendly, though they did not speak English and our Italian was poor. The room was basic and clean. No WiFi or breakfast. Price is reasonable, 60 Euro a night, would stay again.
The hotel has a very nice location, it is very close to the railway and bus station. It doesn't take too long to go to the beach or to the city center. The room was clean, no fancy furniture. If you stay there for couple of nights, I would recommend it.
We stayed for one night, which was enough. The hotel is in a good location for walking up the hill to the old town in the evening for dinner-- a must do. Also, you could easily walk down many steps to the main section of town via narrow streets. The room was clean, and the bath was cramped.
We really liked this hotel. Right opposite the station, and there is a free bus down the hill to the waterfront bus terminal. Our room was large, and beautifully clean with its own bathroom, and cleaned daily. We ended up staying ten nights, it was so convenient, and the reception staff were great and very helpful. We were told of a terrific restaurant, inexpensive, up the hill in the old town. Also given a map and directions to the Roman ruins in Gianola, and the amazing Roman Cisternone. A two storey hotel, lack of lift could be a problem if old or unable to climb stairs. But then, all of Italy involves stairs!! They don't do breakfast, but there is a great cafe at the station opposite, for Cappacinos and Cornetti.
