If the accommodation was as good as the staff it would be a 5* hotel but unfortunately that was not the case, 20 years ago the hotel would be a good 4 star hotel but the facilities were generally in need of an upgrade, in 2015 you would have thought having a shower would be relatively simple but not here...

Just got back from a weeks stay. 3 adults in 2 rooms via Simply Travel. Parts of the hotel could do with some TLC. Staff are very good. Food fine, but predictable. Wine prices OK. Air con in one of the rooms was poor & the shower kept changing temperature. Enjoyed our stay but probably wouldn't stay in Giardini Naxos...

A perfect family hotel where the personnel shows great empathy for its guests. The servants in the restaurants had a personalized approach towards their guests; they were able to get good contact with all age categories, from young to geriatric people. They showed a lot of enthousiasm and brought a lot of humor in their work.

As a result we have developed a reasonable ability to be able to discriminate between good and bad. The Arathena Rocks Hotel sits at the top of the first category. The staff are the principal reason why the hotel...

We stayed for a week in early July 2015. The hotel is about 37 miles from Catania airport and situated right on the rocks with direct access to the sea. There is also a salt water swimming pool. The snorkelling is superb - very clear water with an abundance of fish and the rocks make for caves, overhangs, pits etc....

We have just had two weeks here and using local transport and organised trips experienced the history, landscape and beauty of the island. The hotel is quirky, authentic, friendly and more than good for anyone wanting a great place to swim, eat, walk and explore. If you are wondering where to go in this part of Sicily then go and...

we came home from Arathena rocks at the beginning of the week after a really lovely holiday. The hotel is well situated about 10-12 mins walk along the sea front from town ,so a quiet spot with a couple of local restaurant/bars nearby and more as you walk into town ,all quite reasonably priced .The beach is a bit farther...
