Stayed here September early October in a room in the villas. Very small with a balcony that never gets the sun. Tiny wardrobe with one door and two drawers no other drawers so struggling where to put clothes and seeing as we went for nearly two weeks there was a lot of clothes. A table with TV on similar to a wallpaper pasting table ok for toiletries. A fold up bed in the corner was used to put clothes on goodness knows how we would have gone on if there was three of us.Small bathroom with tiny shower. Food was good but a bit like a canteen at times hot food wasn't that hot. Good beach and nice idea you have same sunbeds and parasol for your stay we went all inclusive so it might not be the same for all. Nice bar to go to in the evenings and entertainment was good. Gardens are beautiful and a few good shops nearby don't think I would go again.

This was the fist time we had gone all inclusive so we can’t compare it to other hotels. We found the hotel very friendly and welcoming and spotlessly clean as the rooms were cleaned daily. The food was delightful, there was plenty of it and plenty of choice. The restaurant manager Nunzio was even better than the food, he made us feel very welcome and special, he is a real asset to the hotel and we will look forward to seeing him again next year. The pools were lovely although cold so we spent our time at the beach which was absolutely beautiful. It was perfect with a cafe and sun beds, umbrellas etc which can be reserved for the whole holiday and the back three rows free for all inclusive. There are plenty of excursions available. The only negative we found was the staff at the Olympus bar were not were friendly to all inclusive guests. The mosquitoes were a real problem too so repellent is essential. We will definitely be returning next year.

You never know what to expect when you choose from a brochure but was a great choice. We went all inclusive. Had a great view of Etna from the room which was nice to wake up to. The rooms were clean and decent size. The air con was a bit intermittent. The mozzies got us most nights in the room. The food was great, excellent choice and Nunzio was excellent at greeting us each evening. The beach was really close and even though we didn't reserve any umbrellas there was always plenty of space. The pool was very cold so spent most of our time on the beach. Great location for excursions. We did Mount Etna 2900 and gorges, would definitely recommend, Etna was amazing. The shuttle to tourimina was good value at €5 return. Such a beautiful town, and some excellent views from the amphitheatre. All in all a great choice. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed for a week all inclusive. The transfer was 50 minutes from the bus leaving the airport which was unexpected as we were told 2 hours… lovely surprise. Food was excellent. Although we’d not recommend the pizza dining experience, the speciality restaurant was lovely and highly recommend. The garden villa was nice but small and not well designed with very limited storage (we travel quite light and found it tight). The shower and bathroom were fine but nowhere to put your soap in the shower. The drains were smelly at times. Need to keep the door to the bathroom closed at night because the mosquitoes come out from the drain, still got bitten. The beach was quiet. Water was very cold. The Olympic swimming pool was quiet, very comfortable and clean with beautiful trees. The other pool was smaller, busier and more noisy. Excellent selection of fantastic ice cream from the bar and included in all inclusive. Highly recommend. We took the hop on off bus for Godfather tour in the afternoon, short walk to the bus station. With hindsight we should have started in the morning to make full use of the ticket. We have been to places with far worse evening entertainment but it was generally the same band. A very clean hotel and good service. It was lovely to see them setting tables in the restaurant for late arrivals, bottled water, wine, bread, fruits and meats so much better than a soggy cheese sandwich and bottle of water we’ve been given elsewhere when we arrived after the restaurant stopped service.Thank you for a nice stay.

We stayed in the villas which are located in the gardens which are very well kept, however, the villa is nothing more than a hotel room in a small building of 10 rooms and was very small. There are no tea/coffee making facilities and limited space for wardrobes. The bathroom was particularly tiny. We overlooked the pool and garden area and when the entertainment was in full flow it was quite noisy. While we were there a conference was taking place with a lot of delegates dining and the dining areas didn't have much ambience, it was a bit canteen like. The all inclusive option involves being given a card which you have to present each time you want a drink but it got quite tedious as you had to wait for you order to be rang into the till each time and then present your card to the reader. AI choices were limited to 4 types of spirit, beers, coffees, soda fountain and aperitifs, cocktails were not included. Water was served by the glass or plastic cup and you couldn't order for instance a coffee and water per person, you had to make two trips. AI also got you a sunbed and towels from row 3 back over, this was quite good as you had the same sunbed through-out your stay, so it was no fuss to turn up at any time and it stops the pre-breakfast reserving. Row 3 was adequate and it was only a short walk to the sea. The beach is very pebbly and we had took beach shoes, without these we wouldn't have got into the water, so highly recommend you take some. The hotel was fairly clean and tidy but lacking in ambience in the main dining and bar areas, its' not somewhere we would return to, but overall had a relaxing week in pretty surroundings.

I thought the hotel was excellent and the food was different each day. We were half board but ate too much in the breakfast and evening dinner. The staff were also very helpful. Nice beach and there was a section that was free all day and had no trouble getting one!

Fabulous hotel. Kind staff, nothing to much trouble to make us feel at home. Immaculate chalet, spacious and cleaned daily. Swimming pools had lots of sunbeds. Good tennis coaching. Great choice of food to choose from. Sandy beach, warm sea. Snorkeling team on site, great excursion. Live band in the evening. Would definitely return.

We enjoyed our holiday in this large resort. A big thank you to previous reviewers, we were glad we read your reviews and were well informed before we left home. We took our travel kettle for an early morning cup of tea, booked the hotel shuttle to Taormina as soon as we arrived, made good use of the public bus terminus a 10 minute walk away and knew it would take 20 mins to walk to Giardini Naxos beachfront. The grounds are well kept and the Olympic size swimming pool has a relaxing large poolside with shady trees. We paid 1 euro each for a beach/pool towel at the beginning of the week and because of the very useful pull-out drying rack on the balcony did not need to replace them during the week. Since it is such a large hotel it can become quite busy at mealtimes in the main buffet restaurant. My advice would be to go early if you want maximum choice as when we leaving after dinner, it looked as though the choice could be more limited. The quality of the food was good, especially the vegetable dishes for the first course and, if you’re a vegetarian, you will have a great choice. Bottles of wine and water are still provided free at dinner. We thought that the best hot option all week was swordfish which we were lucky enough to have twice. Overall the room was fine, housekeeping kept it very clean and it seemed recently decorated, as did the bathroom. The aircon and fridge worked well and the bed was very comfortable. However, the sanitary ware in the bathroom was old. Again housekeeping kept it clean but the shower tray was stained, there was a crack in the sink and the chrome on the taps, sink and shower plugs had worn away due to continued use. I took a hairdryer with me but did not need it as the one in the bathroom seemed a recent replacement and worked well. A ten minute walk outside the hotel are a supermarket and some restaurants and also a little further on, the local bus terminus. You have to wear a certain type of mask on the buses and there is no argument, if you don't have the correct type, you cannot get on the bus. There is a kiosk on the corner near the terminus that sells them for 1 euro. A return ticket to Taormina is 3 euros, from there Castelmola is another 3 euros return and both are well worth a visit. In the case of Taormina we caught the local bus to look at the amphitheatre one morning and the hotel shuttle to other end of the town to wander through the narrow streets and visit the gardens another day. It can be quite crowded if there are parties from a cruise ship visiting but the views are great. Even better views if you visit Castelmola where you can see for miles and miles. Catch the local bus to the bus terminus in Taormina and then another local bus up to Castelmora unless you're very fit! The fare is another 3 euros return. We were there when there we some fires on the hillsides and watched the fire-fighting plane and helicopter swooping down to collect seawater and them drop it on the flames. All this with Etna smouldering in the background too made it a memorable trip. It was 6 euros return on another local bus for the hour long journey to Catania and most of that is on the autostrada so it’s an easy way to get there. A 20 minute walk from the hotel brings you the beachfront, statue of Nike and archaeological museum in Giardani Naxos – well worth the walk. In the UK we are lucky enough to have many Roman artifacts but they are even luckier and have some marvellous Greek ones too.

This is quite a vast structure with lot of facilities and relaxing areas. The rooms in the park area are spacious and with a private garden. There are 4 restaurants “Marrasso” being absolutely the best. Other two are average quality buffet restaurants What I didn’t like was the room sometimes not well cleaned and that none of the restaurants proposed Sicilian speciality like Granita and ice cream

This hotel is excellent. Accessible for disabled guests which was important for us. Food good, traditional Sicilian food. Staff helpful and friendly. It's was a bonus having a low cost mini bus to Taormina which is a beautiful place. Beach access good and high quality facilities. It's easy to critise small features which, with some easy fixes, would make this the perfect hotel for those with reduced mobility but overall our experience was excellent. The entertainment team work very hard. All credit to them. Pools are clean and aqua aerobics superb. Elizabeth was a star. We would return in a heartbeat. In the past we have paid a lot more for a lot less.
