We spent a week in the Lipari at the Borgo Eolie Hotel. We had an excellent stay there. The staff was very friendly, especially Max, who always had a friendly smile and wave. It was a quiet and restful spot with birds singing on the hill behind the hotel during the day. They provide shuttle service into town, although we enjoyed...

After 10 days hiking in Sicily we decided to spend two nights at Lipini. Hotel wonderful, staff friendly and helpful. Got a kick out of meeting Max, mentioned by another reviewer. Big smile and eager to please. Charmed by the town...wonderful original shops. Great places to eat. Try Kasbah....great ambiance and friendly staff. Simple dinner and bottle of wine. Our...

Not centrally located (i.e. 15 minute walk - uphill on the way home) but delightfully quiet and restful situated on a hillside with large airy rooms, all with verandas and in room refrigerators. A lovely pool, delicious breakfast, and very helpful staff. Feels like a resort hotel. it appears that all rooms are roughly equal in terms of views, amenities,...

Excellent hotel from every point of view. The courtesy of the staff and the great service were outstanding - in particular Anna who drove us to and from the port regularly in the mornings, Massimo who did the same in the evening and was always ready for a chat and Ornella who gave us an excellent list of restaurants that...

Free shuttle with friendly driver already by arrival to Lipari - nice relax after hassle of travelling. Very cosy, not a big hotel, beautiful pool area. Spacious hotel rooms are really suitable for lazy time. Freezer in every room to have cold drinks around the pool and later night when talking with friends in terrace. Terrace itself is enough large...

My wife and I stayed here in October. Great place to stay. Rooms were very nice, staff very friendly, great breakfast and easy walk into town. Price was very reasonable. They have a shuttle van that will take you to the ferry dock or into town. The views are fabulous and when we were there the weather was great, sunny...

We arrived after a long 8 hours of travel from Rome, and the massimo came straight from the hotel to pick us up himself and check us in, showing us the town and sites along the way. We loved our room, room 211 if you can get it - it's right above the lobby where they have free wifi so...

We were 4 couples traveling around sicily. What a fun treat to stay here. They nicely picked us up at the port and gave us many trips to town for dinners, touring and excursions to Stromboli. Arellano and "max" made everything easy for all of us. Rooms and breakfasts were perfect for our group. We enjoyed wine on the terrace...

Visited this hotel in year 2012. Despite the fact that the hotel is a bit far from the sea, get to it quite easily. Service and maintenance within the hotel is quite good. Rooms are well appointed and quiet. In the hotel we took the excursion on Isola Vulcano, were very pleased. Breakfast with no frills, but overall quite tasty.

We liked this hotel a lot and it was a perfect base for excursions to stromboli at night ( a must !) and to explore Lipari. This hotel has spacious rooms, balconies and a lovely pool. Staff were friendly. There is a shuttle service by arrangements from the port. Walk without luggage is easy and takes about ten minutes. Breakfast...
