Beautiful spot, pretty hotel, MEAN, RUDE front desk and breakfast room staff. Stay somewhere else. I literally felt like I had to tip toe around the hotel as to not upset the rude ladies that worked at the front desk. We cut our trip a day short because we felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome. For example, when I asked about...

LOVELY LOCATION IN MALCESINE !!! :) We spent 3 nights and we enjoyed the stay and the visit in Malcesine . Rooms are clean and silenced. We had the lake view and it was simply breathtaking . Breakfast buffet is good.

Nice modern hotel with outdoor pool, fabulous location directly opposite two beaches. Staff were very friendly & helpful, rooms comfortable. The outside pool area was decked and nicely landscaped. The restaurant (linked) next door was also very friendly, good food and prices, also served takeaway pizzas. There is no mini bar in the room. The bar prices were reasonable.Breakfast was sufficient,

The hotel and the rooms are modern and very clean. The breakfast buffet is excellent, on of the best we have had anywhere in Italy. The pool area is very comfortable and the hotel is very close to a nice beach. The only downside is that it's quite a long walk from central Malcesine. There is a very good restaurant...

stayed here as part of a large wedding party, staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. good breakfast buffet with lots of choice, lunch and dinner can be found at the restaurant next door (which is run by the same staff) though there . about 30 minute walk down into Malcesine itself but only about 15 minutes to a place...

Really lovely, clean hotel! Staff are very friendly & easily accessible with a pushchair. Only complaint was the swimming pool was so cold (I assumed would be heated) so couldn't take our daughter in which was disappointing. Lovely walk into Malcesine but did take 35-40 minutes. Breakfast was great, buffet style, always fresh & friendly server :-)

A hotel a few minutes drive north of Malcescine. We stayed for 3 days in late June- staff were very welcoming & our room had a large terrace oveooking the lake. A modern hotel, wifh a nice pool and sunbathing deck. Our room had all we needed and the buffet breakfast was very good indeed. Would certainly return here.

We enjoyed our stay at the Campagnola but it's not a 20 minute walk in to town as advertised in the Inghams brochure. It's 3 kilometres in to town and to cover that much ground so quickly would equate to something like a forced march! In the heat of the day it took us an hour and at night 40-45...

we soon learned that this part of Italy is more geared up for the Germans, because it is apparently only a 4 hour drive for them. We had no problem with the german people but found the many of the Italians gave priority to them and were quite unfriendly and impatient towards us. i.e books of info in the hotel,...

The location of this hotel - above and back from the road, among olive trees and with superb lake views - is perfect. Malchesine is accessible along the beachside path or in the infamous Tourist bus (last time I saw so many people on one single bus was in rural Mexico, but it was all done with characteristic Italian cheerfulness!)....
