We stayed here in April 2016 for just one night but loved it. Very clean and very quaint. One of the nicest b&b' we have stayed in. The train to get in into Venice was a three minute walk and it was very cheap to get to Venice by train. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. The breakfast was... More

On behalf of my sister and uncle who commended me to leave a best recommendation of Casa Villa Gardenia. They had a pleasant stay in Venice even if they wouldn't speak english or italian. Thank you Lorenza and google translate which has enabled communication and a memorable trip. Room was spacious and comfortable and breakfast was delicious.

This cozy hotel is probably the best place to stay by visiting Venice. The location is superb, just 3 minutes walk to the railway station and after 10 minutes ride you will be there :) Rooms were nicely decorated, and big enough, breakfast was also very good. Lorenza is very helpful and giving the best suggestions to make your stay... More

Casa Villa Gardenia is a perfect place to stay if you have a car and want to visit Venice. It is located about 10 minutes from Venice by train and the train station is just 100 meters from the house. You can leave your car in Villa Gardenia's yard (for free) and not worry about it at all. The villa... More

My wife and I found this place online as it was highly rated and decided to book it for our short trip to Venice. It turned out to be a great decision for us. We were able to easily find the place and parking was right onsite. The room was large and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. There was such... More

Venice is SUPER expensive. For our entire visit there, the only cheapest expense was our room! The neighbourhood is a little dead at night when we came back from Venice with the RGV. Its only a small property. Landlady is friendly and helpful. Room is comfortable.

It was great to have the same experience that so many other TripAdvisor reviewers have had. Casa Villa Gardenia was a wonderful place to stay and exceeded our expectations. Lorenza is a fantastic host. The best way to describe her is a perfect blend of German efficiency with Italian warmth. The villa is incredibly clean and tidy and has everything... More

We stayed here for two nights for a quick visit to Venice. I much preferred staying on the mainland. After watching hoards of tourists dragging all their luggage through the crowded cobblestone streets and looking miserable, I was very glad we were not one of them. The Gardenia is a bit of a mind-bender. Kind of like visiting your crotchety... More

Just outside of the main touristy island is the way to go! and this hotel is definitely a winner. location: Only 15 minutes train ride and a 200m walk to the train station. Makes for an easy arrival and get away from Venice (everybody said to do Venice in 1 day, 2 days max). room: nice comfy big bed. Bathroom... More
