This is a year late review but as we have returned for a second visit I'd thought I would do both. Last October we stayed for a week in room 111. We loved it as it felt like being in some sort of religious retreat. Basic rooms with enormously high ceilings. It overlooked a sort of enclosed patio area and...

Its like going back to the 1970's with the exception of the drinks and food prices. The accommodation was basic to say the least, food was not best and portions were small. The road you need to cross to get from the rooms to the restaurant was pretty hairy, they don't acknowledge crossings. The hotel is miles from anywhere,(£15 one...

I had room 12. Lovely view of Capri from my balcony. Room clean. Above the restaurant so noisy on occasions but used ear plugs. Very strange shower curtain above tiny shower which flooded bathroom floor. Owners provided insect repellent plug in. Local buses stop outside hotel and we had no problems with them as long as you have the right...

This hotel needs a serious deep clean, our loft room was thick in dust, looked like it hadn't had one in a very long time. The staff were very poker faced and didn't want to engage in any kind of conversation, the breakfast was very minimal in choice & if you weren't there at 8am sharp there was serious lack of...

just back from a week at villa pina, arrived around 10 pm given our key and shown lift, no other welcome or told we could get something to eat. Room was old fashioned but clean, bath had obviously had holes in it and had been badly repaired, had an over bath shower, but no shower curtain. We had booked a...

This holiday was my 50th birthday present from my husband,as i have always wanted to visit Italy. To start of as we arrived late at night we were given a paper menu with a short variety of food to chose from and there was only one item on this menu that i could eat.We were then given our room key to...

Having arrived at the Hotel in the late evening we were checked in and given a room key. Upon finding our room the disappointment set in straight away, the room was small, dingy, poorly lit and the only window opened onto the smoking courtyard. As for facilities there were none, no hairdryer, no TV, no fridge and the air con...

Yes if you read the negative comments you can see they are true in parts. But this was my first trip to Italy and it was nice and relaxing. The hotel room I had was clean and tidy. room 304 in the attic. There was no fridge and while there was a TV it could not get any channels. You...

A long way out of town and we couldn't get on a bus back from Sorrento so we had to get a cab which cost us 37 euros. Supposed to be a Michelin starred restaurant but certainly not for tui guests. You get a very basic 3 option menu unless you count take it or leave it. Luke warm soup...
