We stayed last week for four nights at Aaron Hotel. In general speaking It did not feel clean enough. The walls are fake, as a result we could hear noises and talking from the next room. Also the walls were dirty and there were stains on them . There was too much dust on the lamps next to the bed, which is a detail that shows that there is no attention paid on cleaning properly. The floor (linoleum) outside the bathroom was teared The bathtub had glass protection for the water, but it was not stable or tall enough to keep the water from falling outside. As a result every time we had a shower the whole bathroom was wet, the ceiling was not well maintained and the corners were dirty. The pillows are very thin and uncomfortable but the mattress was quite good. There were a microwave, a kettle, a mini fridge and a smart TV. It is a 5-minute walking distance from the train station There are bus stations, super market and fast food restaurants really close to the building The staff was nice…
Pleasant hotel but be careful what room you get. Room 310 was like a prison cell but room 205 was lovely. Clean and nice towels. Breakfast was continental and ample but the breakfast staff were very grumpy. The location is good as only a short walk from the station which goes directly to Venice St Lucia, but the area is bit grotty.
The welcome was warm and check in very easy, although the hotel was not easy to find! Even the locals did not know where it was. The room itself was small but functional and the same could be said for the bathroom. The only places to sit in the room was one hard dining chair and the toilet. Tea/coffee making facilities were notable by their absence and you could not even buy one from the hotel at all! Breakfast was in general good but there was only ever one of anything so, say if you both wanted cereal then you had to risk keep asking. Also no spoons provided for cereal. The server was at best grumpy and did not like you asking, for anything! There was no bin in the breakfast room so everything was piled up on your small table. Check out was easy, and we were able to leave our bags in an open and unsecured area. Just a thought you don’t want to get caught out so don’t forget the city tax. We could not include any photos of the room as my camera would not zoom out enough and not a single photo of this hotel represents our room or the hotel. Not sure if they are mixed up?…
We stayed in this hotel in 2019 on our first trip to Venice. It was a great base for bus travel in and out. Rooms very small and basic but exactly what we wanted hence our return after Covid. Rooms exactly the same....fine..... Service however has gone down hill. Reception closes at 8pm which means so does bar. Breakfast which is usually continental buffet has understandably changed due to pandemic. Its contents are all right but you get very little and God forbid you ask for more. One lady we had serving was the rudest, most unhelpful person I've met. She actually closed a door on my face when I asked for milk and told me to ask her again when she wasn't so busy...... we were the only people in the room! Next time we visit Venice we will stay in Mestre again but not in Hotel Aaron.…
We have stayed 2 nights at Aaron Hotel, and we enjoyed it. Since staying at Venice is quite expensive, we decided to stay in Mestre. The hotel located 3 min walk from the bus station which takes you to Venice, 20 min by bus. The hotel offers free breakfast, parking, and staff is very helpful and friendly. There no much to do in Mestre, but if you want to save money for accommodation this hotel is a good variant.
We stayed in this friendly interesting hotel which was set in a richly diverse neighbourhood convenient for bus and trains to Venice centre. Staff were helpful, it felt like good value and we will stay again if we return to Venice
Venice can be very expensive to visit but this hotel is just outside the main hub and a bus ride away. It's easily accessible from the airport too - make sure you get the all inclusive travel pass for 46 euros for all forms of travel for 72 hours. The room was clean and big enough for two. It does not have luxuries though - shampoo in a sachet and only one tea bag permitted per guest throughout your stay! There is no milk- we asked and never got! I feel as were in the annexe we were forgotten about. Our view was a brick wall. Literally. But it's a budget hotel and whilst clean it could be much improved. That said we spent our days in venice and only slept there. Overall budget hotel. Budget rooms. Budget service.
What a lovely hotel ! , friendly and helpful staff ( all of them ! ) a clean spacious room and an excellent continental breakfast with a large choice of food and hot and cold drinks . The hotel is 5 minutes to the railway / bus station and quick and easy access to Venice . The hotel is situated in an urban industrial area and we felt quite safe . Thank you Hotel Aaron for making a delightful few days special.
Stayed here for 3 nights with my daughter, lovely clean hotel with friendly helpful staff. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Good location for the train station into venice and to get the bus back to the airport.
Really enjoyed our stay here. We stayed in room 401. The room was modern with a huge smart TV including Netflix, Prime etc. The bathroom had a large walk in shower and there was a linen, towel and toiletry change daily. Everything was kept super clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was served 7am till 10pm and consisted of a freshly prepared continental buffet. Everything about our stay at Hotel aaron was perfect and this has the look and feel of a 4 star or higher. Highly recommend!
