We were staying 3 nights in this hotel. Outside temperature +30 celcisus was not a problem due well working Air conditioning . Great location to travel forward in italy or to Venice. Railway station as well bus stops accross the street !
We checked in for one night and they gave rooms next to the night club. Avoid at all cost unless you want loud music disturbing you nights sleep. Apparently they gave us preferred rooms. I reported it to the staff and they gave me ear plugs and said the music will be turned off in an hour. It didn’t. What a joke. Never again and avoid at all cost.
We have been to this hotel many times before because we have a factory-roastery in Padova, but we like to stay near Venice and spend our free time there. For first time unfortunately we see the other rooms of the hotel...... the old rooms. With very hard bed, with bathroom where the drains did not draw well the water, without any machine for coffee or kettles for tea, no glasses for water (just two plastic), no disposable slippers, no even plastic bag for dirty clothes..... And for two persons only shower gel and savon,no sampoo....... I think that we will not stay again at this hotel and we will search something around because the location is fantastic, just across the railway station.
My partner and I stayed at the Hotel Plaza Venice for three nights at the start of July 2022. The hotel is in a great location for travelling to the Venice canals with the train station directly opposite and the train ride only 1 euro 50 cent each and a 5-10 minute journey. The hotel has great soundproofing windows so you can’t even hear a peep of the hustle and bustle on the street below. Our room was spacious and comfortable and the bed was excellent. We slept well every night. The only negative I would mention is that our bathroom was very dated with signs of black mould in places. The breakfast was good with decent variety, set in a modern and relaxing restaurant with fresh fruit, decent coffee and the hot cooked breakfast on offer was very tasty. Staff were all polite, welcoming and warm. Would highly recommend. I will be staying here again when I return to beautiful Venezia!…
Air con unit old in bedroom & not cool enough ?! Also the Bathroom needed refurb.& could have been cleaner? Small space room. Breakfast not plentiful. Would not use this hotel again…..no facilities. Not even a Sunbed area.?
This hotel is centrally located in the center of Venice, is a tourist center with restaurant, shops, etc. One of the most important areas of the city. The outside of the building and common areas looks good. The service as a whole was good. Good WiFi signal and good breakfast. We were a group of 20+ and we all enjoyed the time.
We stayed at the plaza for 9 nights and we enjoyed our stay there. The room was very clean. The staff were very friendly. And the breakfast was good. The soul restaurant. was excellent and not to expensive
Good - across the street from the train station and the restaurant attached to it serves some very tasty food. Great map of Venice available at the front desk and the people there were very helpful Bad - there was one plug in the room and one in the bathroom. More plugs were needed. Ugly - bathroom door opens 90 degrees, so you may have to walk in sideways. Also, having the shower wand on one wall and the controls on another cuts down the available space in the shower.
We opted for a two night stay, expecting the hotel to be within easy reach of Venice centre. It was! Hop across the road, buy a ticket (€1.40), catch any train to Venice centre. Ten minutes in a super train and you’re looking at the Grand Canal. Safe, remarkably quiet, and with very good facilities. We had a standard room- well furnished, comfortable bed, lovely bathroom. Not a beautiful view, but air con and windows that opened. Lovely modern self - service breakfast room with masses of variety. We also crashed out each evening, with sore feet, and opted to eat in the restaurant. Good menu, well cooked, friendly service, and reasonable prices ( this is Venice). It’s not trad de luxe, but it does have everything a modern business or leisure traveller needs.
It’s not really a 4 star hotel, it’s more a 2-3 star for its hotel setting. The shower is so small, I cannot even wash my hair with the door closes, but I’m a small person. The bathroom itself is big. My room has a backyard view, bright and quiet. The location is perfect, just cross the street from the Mestre station
