Mestre is a mainland 'suburb' of Venice. The Ambasciatore is a 10 minute case pull from Venice Mestre rail station but easy enough to find with google maps on. Earlier in the week we'd stayed at smaller 'boutique' style hotels in Rome and Florence so the larger, more corporate Ambasiatore was a bit of a contrast. The staff were friendly enough...

This hotel is perfect for visiting Venice, only 10 mins on the bus, which stops just across the road. Past reviews have said that the place needs renovated, well the work has started, we had a room which appeared newly finished, it was all bright and white, maybe a bit on the bright side when all the lights on. Our...

Arrived for a short 4 day break (mon-thurs) we had an early flight to make most of time there so arrived mid morning to hotel. Aware couldn't check in until 2pm but was given room number etc and allowed to leave bags in storage room. Told to come back at 2pm for room keys. Explored local area around hotel so...

This hotel is like a hostel. The rooms are tiny and badly furnished. You cannot sit on the toilet without burning your arm on the towel rail. No bath. Very noisy and tend to be used by local workmen. This is not a holiday hotel. Avoid.

Good, friendly hotel. Went room only as virtually next door is the biggest Interspar so was able to buy croissants for breakfast and also bought our dinner and ate in the room to keep it cheap. Can get bus outside to the islands, but walked to railway station instead (10 mins) just to experience stepping off a train straight on...

Stayed here 2 nights this january 2017,basic but clean no bedroom tea or coffee facilities and you will have to travel alot further to find a worse breakfast.Bus routes directly outside and ten mins to venice,20 mins to airport, area not one you would want to walk around in day or night and nothing to do in hotel ,avoid the food.

This Hotel is situated on one of the main roads leading to Mestre train station. The hotel is easily reached from Marco Polo airport. You don't need to splash out on a taxi or pre-booked pick-up (40-60 euros), in the main arrivals hall use one of the AVTO ticket machines and buy a SINGLE ticket to Mestre train station.(8euros), the...

Booked a great deal online for my short break to Venice. Stayed at the Ambasciatori for 4 nights. Check in was easy and the reception staff were efficient. The small issue I had was we arrived a hour early and they would not let us check in until 2pm. Luggage was stored for us and we just grabbed a coffee...
