The room was fine, clean had air conditioning , wanted a drink from the bar one afternoon around 4.30pm the receptionist told us the bar was closed. In our room the info pack said the bar was open almost all day.

We flew into Marco Polo and were pick up with our booking and sorry can’t remember how long it took but best way to get around from hotel into Venice is to buy a multi ticket which you can buy and covers water taxi bus and train travel ours was a 2day pass which was 20 Euro each well worth it and only a 5 min walk out hotel turn right anyone will direct you to by ticket beside bus station and the girl spoke good English and was very helpful hope this is some help to you .
