I would leave 0 stars if I could. I booked this property in March 2022 to stay September 2022. They left us high and dry in Venice because they claimed my card was not working on booking.com. I received an notice that my card was not valid in September 2 so I updated that card that day and messaged the property and heard nothing back. I got a message September 3 saying the card was not valid again so I updated the info to another valid card. Please keep in mind, I have been using both cards in Venice for a few days and they have been working. Stay far away from this place. Once I finally got ahold of them via phone yhey claimed I never updated cards but I have documented proof it was updated and a history of messages they never responded to. They will lie to you and call you a liar and say it is your fault and cancel your hotel for no reason. (This properly was booked at $70/ night in March for a September stay but due to inflation and demand is now going for over $130 so I fully believe they pretended and lied to me that my card was not working so they could cancel a $70/night reservation to make over 130/night). This hotel does not have you in mind at all and will do everything to cancel your reservation to make more money. I have not heard back from my emails or messages. STAY AWAY!…
Great location for the train station, literally just around the corner. Trains to Venice every 10 minutes or so, we paid about €10 return for a family of four. Hotel room ok, quite dated, broken fridge but clean and fine for a short stay. Piazza Erminio Ferretto is about a 15/20 minute walk and lovely for a local drink or meal. You can get the tram from the train station. Not much else in the local area, this hotel is a great base for access to Venice, lots of car parking all around, we found the cheapest on the road via a parking meter 0.80 euros per hour 8am - 8pm free overnight. Great little hotel for a short stay, basic rooms to sleep in with comfortable beds, quiet location.
Great location near the train station located on a quiet side street away from traffic. Warm rooms with laminated flooring and double glazed windows. Nice and clean spacious 2 bedroom flat ideal for a family with 3 children or more. Fully fitted kitchen with new oven and fridge and a very clean bathroom. Good value for your money ! Everybody speaks English
The staff is very friendly. My room was ready before at 13 when I arrived to the hotel. The breakfast is very good for Italy. Is 1 minute to the train station. The price is very good. The room is clean and warm in the winter. So is perfect for one night.
Needed a hotel for one night before travelling on. Needed to be near the station and we needed breakfast. Paris offered both. The room however was tiny and dubious. The bedhead was under the window and there was just enough room to sidle around the bed. Worse tho were the shoe footprints on the wall beside the bed, and the filthy aircondition up under the ceiling. The bathroom and shower were ok even though their positioning in the room was rather unusual. This in stark kontrast to the intimate and ok breakfast room, lobby and very pleasant receptionist. Breakfast basic but delicately presented.
Nice location, almost across Mestre Train Station. Convenience stores nearby as well as restaurants. We stayed in quadruple room. Room was cozy complete with amenities like safety deposit and mini refrigerator. Room were always clean when we arrived from venice. Breakfast was adequate with mostly cold cuts and sandwiches. Breakfast served till 10am but they extend it for us (weekend). Very nice couple/owner who will talk to you and entertain you during your stay. Staffs are also nice but they communicate little english. Overall, this boutique hotel is nice with reasonable rate (compare to venice) and accessible to venice proper by train or bus (almost across).
Hotel Paris offers a great bargain for tourists to Venice seeking a less-expensive place to spend the night. The hotel is both located in the much cheaper Venetian suburb of Mestre and close to plenty of restaurants and also located in a safe, well-lit area. Crime may be a concern in other areas of Mestre, however I felt no concern walking from the Mestre train station to the hotel by myself at night. The neighborhood is also quiet enough at night to leave the windows open and not be kept up with any particularly noisy bars, construction, etc. The hotel is well maintained, the rooms are adequately large, and clean. The breakfast selection was somewhat limited, however considering the cost is just six Euros its well worth the price. I recommend Hotel Paris to anyone seeking to travel to Venice and on a budget.…
A great little hotel very close to the Mestre train station, perfect for visiting Venice on a budget (trains leave often to Venice), The rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated with some interesting design choices, nice bathroom (although the shower is a bit small). Good breakfast with ample choices. Nice people in charge too.
A Good choice to visit the Venice. Clean and comfortable room. Very close to Mestre railway station. Easy to park around your car in blue lines with 8€ per day. The only negative is the flow of hot water in shower.
Room was quite spacious and had a balcony with a view to another room. Room itself was a bit worn down and we could not control TV from distance. Bathroom was really tiny. Toiletries were not changed during our 2 day visit. It seemed like the cleaning of the room was not good enough. You could see that the plaid on the bed was not changed for a really long time. On the other hand, breakfast was great. Reception staff was very friendly and provided us a great map of Venice on arrival. All in all, this hotel is well located (near main station, 30 minutes to Venice station), but has some cons.
