On the surface this hotel looks 4* ~ comfortable lounges, spacious conservatory dining area and all well decorated. The bedrooms are quite sparse and old fashioned although clean. We stopped here for 3 nights whilst touring Italy. We had dinner the first evening, but were rushed by the waiting staff ~ they were literally removing plates before we had barely finished eating. The food wasn't fantastic, but edible and we didn't eat here again, apart from breakfast. The 'older' waiting staff were incredibly rude and had clearly not heard of customer service. One particular person on reception was exactly the same ~ I don't think I've ever come across someone so dreadful. We had an issue with the dining room the next evening, and I am still waiting to hear from the owner with an apology which was promised, but has so far not materialised! The town of Montecatini Terme is pleasant enough with plenty of restaurants. The shops looked quite 'up market'. It is only a short walk to the centre of town.…

All was well and great. The room we were in was modern bathroom. Also large room and massive bed. Plenty of choice at breakfast. When parking was hard to find I used the hotels car park at the back. would return

We checked in for 3 nights We were a group of 20 The rooms were decent but furniture was def worn out but bathrooms were good and quite big and very clean Only one small lift though so becomes very slow and difficult esp if you on a higher floor and the hotel is full Breakfast was not great either nor was the staff was hospitable We didn’t enjoy the food at dinner Except for dessert The hotel was decent but after one night at the hotel some of the rooms were missing money ,a gold bangle and a Gucci bag all from some of our suitcases Being a 4* hotel we def didn’t expect this and quite shocked Because bags can’t be locked all the time when u staying 3 nights However when we told the reception staff thete were initially very rude no one offered us a solution so if u ever decide to stay here be super careful…

The hotel is very nice with an bath atmosphere. The bathroom is new styled and very comfortable. We had a great stay. Just when the theater, opposite to the hotel has a show, it’s quite loud. You can hear as well the street cleaning machine very early in the morning, so it’s better to keep the windows close.

The room is clean and spacious. Breakfast area is nice. Location is superb, one of the best street in Montecatini terme. Walking distance to center.. Due to covid, hotel is not functioning 100% yet, but good thing is they have an excellent staff Richard. He was always helpful and ready to assist. Hotel is very comfy and charming.

We stayed here for a week in September. Lovely location, room was lovely and comfortable. The staff were really helpful and couldn't do enough for you. The food was really nice and the pasta was excellent.

A nice hotel with lovely decorations in a traditional style, near to shops and restaurants, room was ok, they provide you with a kettle but why not provide coffee, tea and milk etc. Dining area is nice, food ok. Stayed here for 3 nights on a coach tour of Italy.Had to pay cash for drinks at the table, guy comes round when you have finished the meals and requests the cash! Supermarket is not very close ,10 mins walk, to get cheap drinks for the room.

This is such a nice charming hotel located in the Tuscany region. Rooms are nice and the staff are friendly. The hotel is within walking distance to local restaurants and shopping. Definitely a place to stay if you are looking for old Italy charm.

Lovely old hotel that has been tastefully up-dated. Some things aren't retrofitted well in old buildings though and air conditioning is one of them. It was quite hot when we visited (37c) and many guests had real problems with the heat. We were at the back of the hotel so by leaving the doors and shutters open in the evening the temperature fell to a manageable level. The breakfast is fabulous, I've never seen a raw honeycomb to help yourself from before. There are a few hot dishes every day but every bread product you can imagine, the fruit juice is excellent and (unusually for an Italian hotel) so is the coffee. The rooms are tasteful, a full wardrobe of coat hangers and the tea, milk and coffee were refreshed every day in our room. I notice reviewers say there is no complimentary toileteries, there are stylish dispensers with shampoo and soap in the bathrooms that are kept topped up. Come on you don't really need diddy bottles, wean yourselves off the single use plastic. You do have to select your evening meal in the morning, but if it is something you decide you don't like the look of, there was no problem having it changed. The staff are very obliging and try their best to make sure you enjoy your meals. A bottle of wine at dinner starts at a reasonable 12 euros. There is no pool but there is an excellent spa opposite where you can swim in thermal waters. You get 10% discount on all treatments there if you take over one of the hotel's business cards they're on reception. …

Quite stylish traditional hotel with elegant public rooms and a lovely outside terrace/bar. Bedrooms are spacious and well furnished and with tea or coffee making facilities and have excellent modern en-suite shower rooms. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the food, especially the evening meals , was very good. Minor problems were the very firm and high pillows which seemed to be all they could provide and the lack of efficient air conditioning in bedrooms. Rooms at the front of the hotel are subject to noise at night and into the early hours.
