We stayed 4 nights here in this delightful place. Spacious apartment on top floor, do prepare yourself to climb 50 steps to get to your room ! We didn’t mind this , however someone with mobility issues might. Adriano the owner helped us with our bags. Book a room facing the valley. The view is picture postcard. There is no aircon but we were comfortable when we stayed, might be a little hotter in the middle of summer, there is a fan. We ate dinner two nights in the restaurant down stairs which was some of the best food in town and we were lucky enough to eat fresh truffles that the owner collects himself, make a booking to dine on the terrace and watch the sunset. Parking is available a few doors down, contact hotel prior to arriving to book a space, they will give you a permit to park in the old town. We would return!
Stayed September 6-10. Had a great experience w/attentive staff, top not servers w/extensive wine knowledge and Francesco! Francesco was a great host that spent a lot of quality time with us answering tons of questions and filling our brains w/knowledge of the town and the surrounding area. Very attentive! Restaurant was high quality w/terrific patio view. (You may have to make reservation.)
Town is in the mountains and walkable if you're okay with the ups and downs. You can also drive through the one-way streets if you're driving a smaller car. Some of the turns are quite tight. We were able to maneuver for 4 days. There is parking down the street. We drove here from Florence (1.5 hrs.).
Lots of Wine Shops in town. You can taste plenty.
Ask Francesco about his Wine Club. They ship to U.S.
We arrived around 2pm to find restaurant closed on a Tuesday. There was a phone number on door for check in. He arrived in 5 mins checked us in and upgraded us to the pleasant suite. The views from the room were amaizing. A spa bath that had seen better days lol. We loved our overnight stay. Breakfast was good, nice coffee.. Great little place to stay.
This was a very special B & B right in the heart of Montepulciano. Great staff that work there although they speak just Italian, but were very sweet. We were in the 3 bedroom apartment which was lovely. No air conditioner but lots of fans and windows. They even had a washer! The breakfast was great every morning as well. The restaurant as a wonderful view of the valley and vineyards.
We stayed in a charming room above the restaurant. Large, and with kitchen facilities so it would be ideal for a longer stay. The location is fabulous- near the main square which in August plays host to top class orchestra's. The restaurant overlooks the valley behind and the view is breathtaking, however the food was a little disappointing. Breakfast is great - cold meats, fresh bread and pastries. The hotel is at the top of the town and we spent a wonderful day meandering downhill and tasting fabulous wines.

We stayed here last summer and had a car. The accommodation has a couple of parks in a small carpark just down from the apartment. It is free but they have limited spots so just make sure you contact them to say you have a car before you arrive. The carpark is also within the walls and literally a 2 min walk from the B&B so was no problem at all.
