This is a charming property ideally located just outside the old city of Montepulciano (which means there are no traffic restrictions and you can drive right in and park). We stayed for three nights and the villa proved to be an ideal base to explore all of Tuscany. The villa itself is charming, with well maintained gardens and a lovely...

This hotel is a dream come true. Ask for the room upstairs in the corner with the balcony overlooking the mountains (back of the house). Eat at their restaurant. The food is amazing, this place is one of the most sophisticated, charming and exquisite hotels I have ever stayed at. If you are here and want to do something extremely...

This is a beautiful property just outside of Montepulciano. It is a beautiful villa, featuring views over the Tuscan landscape, an infinity pool, gardens and fine dining. The staff were very accommodating and well trained. A fixed menu is served for dinner requiring a booking before 4pm. We ate here for one of the nights and the food was delicious....

Outstanding hotel with breathtaking scenery and fantastic people & service - the staff couldn't do enough to help. Lovely, friendly people staying at the hotel to. The interior of the hotel is so tastefully done with beautiful furniture and decor throughout. This is really somewhere to escape away from the city. We also ate at the hotel - lunch, wine,...

Where do I begin? Service was fantastic from the moment we arrived. They greeted us by name and even offered to park our vehicle. within minutes we had our bags in the room and were enjoying a light lunch (not on menu) and a local bottle of very nice red wine. The wait staff were super friendly and kind. The...

My husband and I recently stayed here for part of our honeymoon and we loved it! The grounds are gorgeous and the staff lovely. We stayed in the gorgeous Il Balcone suite and also loved the Infinity pool in the afternoons. The staff here go out of their way to help you with information, dinner reservations etc. We loved the...

I agree with one of the previous reviewers that we were between and 4 and a 5. I think this place deserves a 4.5. Since they rated it a 5, I'll give it a 4 to balance out. The grounds are beautiful - we really loved the infinity pool that overlooked the country. It was a great place to relax...

It is a beautiful little hotel with great personal service. The breakfasts are very good and service impeccable. We had dinner there upon arrival. Excellent way to relax after a long journey. The garden is very pretty and the infinity pool is amazing. If you are used to modern 5 star hotel services, it is not that as the building...

Villa Cicolina was our first stop in Tuscany. They set the bar that was not easy for other hotels/B&Bs to compare up to. The property was amazing and everyone of the Staff was so wonderful. From check in to check out they were attentive and always willing to help make arrangements for dinner or wine tasting. We had a fabulous...

We just left Villa Cicolina after spending a great week there. We are torn in our rating between 4 and 5 stars - the location is really good near Montepulciano, the staff were really great and the grounds were lovely. The restaurant was very good but not 5 stars excellent, and a few things disappointed us. The weather was a...
