The view is really beautiful, the wines are good, the location is good, but that’s it. The beds were the most uncomfortable beds I’ve slept on. Both me and my wife suffered from back pain, and it was really hard to sleep. The beds were making a creak noises when we moved. The dinner made me thrown up in the middle of the night, and my wife had nausea and stomach pain all night and the day after. When we told that to the owner he just said “I’m sorry maybe it’s something else that you ate” (we haven’t ate anything that day!), we had to pay on that dinner 75 EUR fo both of us! Didn’t get any compensation for that embarrassing dinner situation. The pool wasn’t clean, lots of bugs, leaves, really no pleasant. We was there 2 nights and the pool wasn’t clean each day. There was a lot of noises outside in the morning because of the harvest, tractor noises.

After driving through the beautiful vineyards around Orvieto, you arrive at the most unique location: a nicely renovated pallace that once belonged to the Pope. Nevertheless, you feel like you become a part of the lovely family owning the winery and hotel! The winery is definitely worth paying a visit and taste (warning: you will only love the place and people more). Thank you for the warm welcome, the lovely breakfast and delicious wine!

Just a few KM from Orvieto on a small hill we found this beautiful old Palazzo and winery . Very personal , great service and attention to details , only 5-7 rooms and so beautifully renovated . Great food options sourced from the garden and local suppliers, wonderful pool and options for walks etc .

Amazing location, amazing venue. Great facilities. Highly recommend staying for dinner there - it was spectacular. Wish I could've stayed longer. Perfect for a 1 or 2 night stay. Not sure if there's much to do in town as i couldn't drag myself away from the hotel! Did try and do one of the recommended walks - got totally lost! Not sure about the instructions! But this was a very small issue.. still enjoyed it immensely!

If you’re looking for a hotel that forgets to give you the bill and then threatens to call the police and have you banned from international flights then look no further, this is the place for you! The establishment and wine is beautiful and the timeless investments into the grounds are very serene. It is a shame that certain members of staff have the ability to ruin the entire experience. Be sure to give your mobile number if you would like abusive messages as a souvenir to remind you of the place. Appropriate for older couples over 50 years old or families with young children - great for being woken up in the early hours. Management show preferential treatment to these groups.
