Not a place I would recommend. Air conditioning centrally operated and only on a few hours late each afternoon through evening and early morning, but not properly working so virtually useless. Breakfast and pool fine though. 500 steps down to the beach, but then back again too. Would not stay there again.

Everything from the booking process and getting answers to my questions, the flight schedule, my attempt to cancel, and the stay itself was sub-par. Based on reviews to other destinations, it seems that DerTours is selling impossible itineraries, with flights that arrive too late for a hotel transfer to be possible on the same day, essentially shortening your stay by...

When we came up to the hotel, we where greeted with a "Who are You?". When I explained that we where guests in another village who had gotten a recommendation to go there and eat, the rude girl behind the counter said, "no, we are not open" and even though we saw the restaurant was open she denied and looked...

The hotel is a modern hotel which seems best suited for summer beach activities. It is located toward the periphery of the town and requires something of a walk to reach all but a few restaurants. The decor is contemporary and lacks the usually charm of hotels in southern Italy. However, the rooms were spacious and there was a nice...

We stayed as a group of 5, 4 adults and 1 child and we split the rooms as a Junior suite and one of the cottage rooms that sleeps 3, the Junior suite (room 206) was excellent apart from the air conditioning unit which was really ineffective at doing its job, the cottage room was not good though and was...

I share a lot of what has been written in the reviews and also recognise the shortcomings of this place. However, the view and the location are so stunning that you tend to forget of a lot of other things that could be improved. That is why I put 4 stars. Firstly, make sure you speak to Luisa of the...

This is a lovely hotel, which has lots of individual rooms. A steep path leads down to beach and a nice pool at the hotel. The room was basic, but with charm, a lovely balcony and fantastic sea view we were in the Marinelli area. The food was good. Staff very helpful especially accomodating when due to a flight being...

The king's hotel is a great hotel along the Cilento Coast. I cannot commend them enough from the moment we arrived at check-in all the way through our stay on departure. The genuine warmth and friendliness which was shown,  The food was delicious as was the room overlooking the sea.The hotel is just beautiful. The rooms are oversized, and well...

Our trip begun from Rome where we stayed our first night. Then we took train to Palinuro which was easy travelling with a moderate price (90 euro + 20 euro for taxi, almost 400km trip). We had not much information about the hotel, but it exceeded our expectations. The hotel probably have seen its best days, since it felt like...

“When we turned up the apartment they had allocated us had two double beds which wouldn't have worked with a 2 and 3 year old so they moved us to another apartment. Ours had a lovely patio overlooking the pool and sea. So they are prepared to change if not happy.”
