Central location. Great service at front desk. Incredible views from restaurant and room. Great quality food served at the restaurant. Convenient shuttle service to nearby beaches. Overall great value.
I spent only two nights but I can tell it is a very nice hotel, perfect to enjoy Palinuro day & night. Beautiful view of the ocean and the bay, clean rooms. good breakfast served by professional personnel
The hotel is very clean, offers good breakfast (for 3EUR p.P.) is located near the city center with a lot of restaurants and shops. A free of charge parking lot is available next to the hotel. To the beach it is a walk of ~10min - but very steep.
Delightful hotel in great location, centre of town near Piazza and shops and very close to lovely beaches. Very friendly manager and staff made our stay a real pleasure. The food was very good with plenty of variety and a real feeling of local cuisine. Although the room was not large it was fine, clean and well serviced, provide with tea and coffee making facilities and comfortable beds. The view of the sea and the hotel grounds was lovely and the room quiet. The bar and restaurant are beautifully situated overlooking the sea and the latter, unsurprisingly, is popular with locals as well as guests. Definitely a place to recommend. We stayed for 5 days with a group and enjoyed every minute at the hotel.
My wife and I spent two nights in this hotel. The hotel is very well located and the view from the terrace is wonderful. The rooms are fine. Nothing special for a four stars hotel. The bed is comfortable and the location is very clean. The staff is kind. The breakfast is good. The parking area is free and right beside the hotel. At this level something more is expected.
This is a wonderful little hotel on the main street in beautiful Palinauro. The free parking is terrific. The Windows are sound proofed so you do not hear outside noise. A.C. worked great, as did Wi-Fi. The restaurant is OUTSTANDING! The views are incredible and the wait staff are very accomdating to your every need. It is small enough to get personalized service from every person working there. The hotel is run like a small boutique hotel. I would return in a second!
- Location is perfect, in the middle of Palinuro and its small city centre - Many restaurants next door - Rooms are clean - Just the Wifi did not work in the rooms (1* minus) - Very big balcony with amazing view - Breakfast selection not too good. Guess because we went there in low season and there only 6-8 other guests. So it is OK - one small beach just down the street
We spend 6 nights at this very attractive hotel in the pretty coastal town of Palinuro and were delighted with our experience there. The seaview room we chose was well worth the price of the upgrade, with a magnificent balcony overlooking a stunning coastal view. The room itself was not large, but was well-equipped and impeccably clean, with a good- sized bathroom. We ate both breakfast and dinner at the hotel, as we were part of a large walking group. All meals were very good and the service from Sandra, Giorgio and Emmanuele was professional and friendly. Almost everyone in the hotel seemed to speak good English, but they were happy to let you practise your Italian if you wanted to do so. There is a beautiful terrace area to have drinks and our group enjoyed many of Giorgio's cocktails as we relaxed from a day of hiking in the lovely countryside. This is a truly spectacular part of Italy and this hotel is a great base from which to explore it. Highly recommended!…
Family run hotel with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Lovely room with a panoramic sea view. Gorgeous restaurant and bar. Wrapped up warm and ate breakfast on the outside terrace every morning. Palinuro is fantastic base to explore this stunningly beautiful area. We will be back and would love to stay in La Conchiglia again.
We stayed two nights here in February. As it was off season the hotel was very quiet. It was easy to find and parking available right beside the hotel. Room was small, but clean and bathroom adequate. We had booked a street side room but on arrival paid to upgrade to the Sea side of the hotel.Amazing views of a beautiful coastline. Lovely big deck with comfortable chairs and table. We did not eat at the hotel but really enjoyed the restaurant that was recommended by the hotel. Wifi was not the greatest. Breakfast was good. Above all you could tell that this was a family run hotel and felt very welcoming and homey. The restaurant on the bottom floor was undergoing some renovations however it was a beautiful setting with indoor and outside dining on the terrace overlooking the wonderful little town of Palinuro and the beautiful sea. Would love to return during the summer as I'm sure it would be very different. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone travelling between the Amalfi Coast and Sicily.…
