Beautiful location, such friendly welcomes when we arrived. We even blew the fuse in our room and still had the utmost service. Truly a gem in Positano, I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. We had so much fun, Giovanni even told us about the best hike in the area (Path of the Gods), what a spectacular...

Last September we stayed for three nights and were very happy. It is a typical Italian family business. Giovanni, Rachele and other family members are welcoming you with their warm heart, giving the feeling you are part of them. Rooms are simple but clean. Breakfast is served under the pergola terrace between flowers and protecting you from the warm morning...

Came back last week from the most perfect holiday. It is a truly beautiful location, the view was breathtaking, the food to die for and a homely feel to the hotel. The most beautiful thing however, were the family. They made us so welcome, always available to help you and just look after you. We ate here every night, because...

This is hands down the best place to stay in Positano. The owner Giovanni and his family make it their business to make sure your holiday is the very best. The hotel is very clean and modern, even stand up enclosed showers and the food at the restaurant is excellent and authentic. A lot of the vegetables and fruits are...

Myself and my partner chose Hotel Barilotto Del Nonno based on the fantastic reviews we had read and we were not disappointed. When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by Giovanni who took our bags sat us down and presented us with two glasses of freshly prepared orange juice. We were instantly made to feel at home. We...

I took my mum to the Amalfi Coast for a long weekend in order to have a relaxing weekend. We purposely picked this hotel based on the excellent reviews it has received and we were not disappointed. The hotel is absolutely lovely in terms of comfort and cleanliness and the sea view was superb from the very spacious balcony. However...

We spend 2 nights here and we wished we had stayed longer. It certainly is paradise here. The view from our room was spectacular and the room was very nice. Giovani and his family were very welcoming and go out of there way to make things perfect. He drove us into the town and picked us up when we were...

Al Barilotto del Nonno was the last leg of our honeymoon, and boy, are we glad we stayed here! The B&B is about 2-3km away from the center of Positano, so it's an easy bus ride (SITA bus) or taxi ride (20 euros) away. Giovanni was an AMAZING host! We had so many questions and he patiently answered each and...
