Excellent centrally located hotel with easy access to restaurants, beach and shops.
The views from this hotel is amazing and one not to miss...we booked a classic room with a sea view but upgraded at an extra charge to a superior for the better view. The food in the hotel is nice. We had breakfast included which is your typical European breakfast. We also had dinner one night which was also nice but we booked it just to take in the amazing views from the restaurant location at night. The same restaurant is used for breakfast.
Hotel staff were helpful and arranged for a moped for us to be dropped to the hotel. I'd highly recommend this for travelling the
There was no iron in the rooms or hotel so you had to basically arrange for clothes to be ironed 24 hours in advance. So bring an iron or book your clothes in advance of arrival.....
The staff is the best too. Francesca at the front desk, all the restaurant staff, porters and cleaners were so very warm, welcoming and helpful. I was so sad to leave!
Thank you to everyone who was so kind!
It's next door to the famous Franco's Bar (drinks are pricy but it was a Positano must!) and Le Sirenuse so the views were breathtaking. A short walk down to the beach and plenty of shops nearby so we didn't go far for anything!
We were in the Family Junior Suite which had *plenty* of space (two bathrooms and a jacuzzi tub) and a balcony that we spent most of our down time on. The AC was fabulous and the space was very clean. Breakfast was included in the price so we didn't have to go on the hunt for a meal every morning - very convenient and the staff couldn't have been nicer to us.
Also, there is an elevator so we didn't have to carry everything up and down stairs, although you will do plenty of walking up and down stairs in Positano as is!
The one thing that I felt was not advertised correctly was the allowance of using the pool at the sister hotel Covo dei Saraceni. We saw online (and from reviews) that we could utilize it but we went and were told that it wasn't available to us. Perhaps this was something that was done before COVID times and they stopped offering it? So, a bummer there but they do have a restaurant and gelato shop that are open to the public. Right next to other popular restaurants near the water!
I'd highly recommend this to anyone who is looking to stay in Positano. We were there for 5 nights and felt safe, comfortable, and like we got our money's worth. We miss it already!
They provided excellent concierge services and the housekeeping staff was fast and efficient, our room was cleaned early in the day once we departed. They still offer turndown service, something you don’t see often these days. The attached restaurant is also quite good for lunch and dinner besides the breakfast buffet that was included. The hotel is well located in Positano and not far from the main walking street down to the beach. Highly recommend this hotel.
the food was terrific and the waiters were very good and attentive. We asked the front desk for restaurant recommendations or to make reservations for us was met with no answer .
These rooms were not cheap I would Recommend you too look around before you book at this hotel. was not impressed. It does have a beautiful view from the terrace, but don't be fooled most of the other hotels do also.
also if you were on the terrace you could see right in the rooms next to you,
was very weird .
