We saw a lot of mixed reviews for this hostel but we really enjoyed staying here!! The hostel reception area and large balcony is very beautiful and it felt so great to be able to sit and enjoy the balcony with an amazing view with breakfast or drinks or whenever! We stayed in an 8 bed room, the beds were...

Me and my friend really loved Positano but not the hostel. We booked two beds from the cheapest room, 'cause the prices in Positano are higher. We paid 45€ per night per person and in our opinion the price was outrageous what we got with it. No window, not a proper door, next to the "bar lounge", so we could...

For budget backpackers staying in Positano is hardly an option. (Most end up staying in Sorrento and take day trips). Hostel Brikette had an excellent balcony / common area with views of the sea that would rival any 5 star hotel. Whilst byo is not allowed - the bar has exceptionally cheap drinks including bottles of wine for next to...

I stayed at Ostello Brikette in August, peak season. My partner and I opted for a private room which was on the expensive side for a hostel but you will not find better value in Positano and the room was definitely worth the price! The room had a really comfortable bed (which other hostels often overlook), private bathroom and a...

Happy hour from 1800-2030. Most people in the place meet on the terrace overlooking Positano. Easy to meet new people if you're traveling alone. The only set back is how high up the hill it is. But if you don't mind the exercise, then the place is good.

First, it is conveniently located a minute walk from the Bar Internazionale bus stop in Positano (the top of the hill stop), which makes it a great base for seeing around the Amalfi coast. The view is stunning and the outdoor patio is a great place to sit with a book and a bottle of wine after a fun day...

First off, the only hostel in Postiano and probably the cheapest accommodation you could find. Whilst it is pricey for a hostel, and the walk back from the beach was quite a work out, I think it was 100% worth it (plus you need exercise after all that pizza and pasta!). The staff were so lovely, both Pete and his...

If you are travelling by yourself, this is probably the ideal place to stay in Positano. Most of the Positano hotels are pretty expensive. The staff are great and the rooms are clean and there's a great view from the balcony, but it isn't close to much. You have to walk a long way to the beach and to most...

to start I would have to say the staff are incredible and really made the stay lovely! Super helpful and friendly! However we booked online and for the price we payed I can't help but feel cheated. The. 12 bed room we were in had no windows and ventilation. There was a shutter door that lead straight to the common...

Two reviews in 24hrs both talking about a non-existent 12 bed dorm. Hmmm.

This was by far the most expensive hostel that I stayed at while traveling a month through Europe and it was probably the worst value for money. I stayed in the 12 bed dorm which had no windows nor any aircon which made it like one large oven with plastic covered beds. The room was also located right next to...
