In a residential area, in the heart of Positano, there is located the ancient building which guests the hotel Villa Gabrisa, an elegant and refined hotel owned by the Rispoli family. The careful choice of each detail, just like Murano chandeliers or Capodimonte ceramics, makes every room special and the hotel's privileged position, just few minute walk from the beaches, wraps it in a fairytale atmosphere that every guest can feel it from each room balcony or terrace, which overlooks the sea.

A very luxury and amazing experience. The team was very accommodating even months before our booking. A huge thanks to Claudia and the front desk team, they really went above and beyond in helping me pull off our proposal. The hotel is located in a very accessible spot with beautiful views. The Honeyroom suite was so spacious, modern and clean with a lot to offer. The breakfast had a great variety and was delicious. We visited in September with great weather to chill out on the grand balcony. Nothing to fault here and and hoping to stay here when we visit again.

Hotel's Favourite
We have been coming to this hotel for many years, it’s a family run more intimate hotel that is just perfect. The website really doesn’t do it justice, yes it’s higher up the town but with the most incredible views. There is a range of rooms to suite all, we always stay in the Junior suite with its huge balcony and new to this year hot tub. It has the most amazing restaurant, beautiful bar area and fantastic team. We are blessed as in we now know the family and hotel team really well but even so they are so lovely and helpful to all not just those they know. I highly recommended this beautiful hotel. Thank you to everyone we miss you 😘

This is our second 10 day stay at Villa Gabrisa. This time in the brand new suite of the annex. Once again, the rooms were superb. The team were so helpful and lovely to see Robyn and family who own the hotel again. Thank you all again for a wonderful stay.

Stayed at Villa Gabrisa with my wife for one night. It was an outstanding stay! Check-in was super smooth, and the Giada (Jade) at reception was was wonderful to deal with: friendly, welcoming and helpful. She is a wealth of information on Positano, suggesting dining options, etc. She is certainly a great asset for the hotel, and she made our stay that much more memorable. We gladly accepted our welcome beverage and she showed us to our room. The hotel itself is a small, intimate property with less than 10 rooms/suites (I believe). We booked the "Honeymoon Suite, 1 King Bed, Sea View" suite, and it was absolutely amazing. The suite was very spacious, had a separate bath and a double shower, and had a terrace with a breathtaking view. I'll repeat it: the view was breathtaking! The restaurant was closed for the low season, so we unfortunately didn't get a change to eat dinner at the restaurant -- that will have to be for our next visit! We did however enjoy the complementary breakfast the next morning, which consisted of a selection of coffee/tea, juice, eggs, bacon cold cuts, cheeses, bread, croissants, fruits, and other items, all of which you select the night before, along with what time you would like to eat. I would point out that the bar at the hotel was closed from around 4pm to 8pm, so we couldn't have a cocktail prior to going to into the town, though Jade was quick to offer to serve us a beer or some wine if we wanted. Valet parking was offered, but we managed to snag a paid spot just outside of the hotel. Check out was as smooth as check-in. We sadly bid adieu to Jade, but are looking forward to our next visit at Villa Gabrisa!

My family just got home from a several night stay at Villa Gabrisa. I cannot speak highly enough of the hotel and the staff. The rooms were lovely, the views spectacular, and the breakfast and restaurant were terrific. I particularly want to note the hospitality and warmth of Giada. She is lovely. Highly recommend this amazing hotel.

What a charming hotel! We loved our stay. The hotel is very small and quiet, which we enjoyed. We had an attic room which was very small, but sufficient. The room itself could use some help updates to the decor and bedding, but it was clean and comfortable. The balcony views were stunning! Our room was also a great value for the time of year. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk to the town square and 20 minutes to the beach with a lot of stairs, but that’s to be expected of any hotel in Positano. Also, you MUST eat at the hotel restaurant Da Gabriela as it was our best meal during our entire trip to Italy. The service, ambience, and food were stellar. Breakfast was also included with our room and it was perfect each morning. The front desk staff was very helpful and thorough. Highly recommend this hotel!

The room was spacious and very clean (we got a recently renewed room, and all the amenities were great). The views are BREATHTAKING. The breakfast is great. The staff is welcoming, helpful, and very nice. The only minor thing is that we could not use the bathtub (it took too long to fill; after 30 mins, we “surrendered”). We would also recommend being careful if you have a food allergy; the staff at the restaurant was not very experienced.

Best hotel stay ever!! We stayed in the Junior Suite with a HUGE balcony and small jacuzzi/plunge pool and outdoor shower! The view is absolutely beautiful!! The furnishings and decor are clean and modern, especially the beautiful modern tiled bathroom with double rain shower heads. Yet the room still has Italian charm, such as the shutters, arched doorways, olive plant and furnishings. Large closet space with minibar and refrigerator, espresso machine, ironing board, safe, beach towels. In the USA a room this nice with such a huge balcony and gorgeous view would cost a lot more! The room and view are outstanding, but what really sets this apart is the service! Claudia was so kind and responsive to all of our needs, from arranging transfers, rescheduling due to Covid, and giving us recommendations on our walk. Jada was also very welcoming and friendly to us. Also, one of the owners, Gabriel, sat with us at the Tulip bar and chatted for an hour! This kind of service is remarkable and unlike anything we have experienced before. It felt like we were staying with friends! The restaurant is delicious with great service and views also! Try the Caprese Salad, Zucchini Flowers, and Sea Bass. Also the free breakfast was great, we had Cappuccino, Espresso, fruit salad, Yogurt, Scrambled Eggs and Croissants! I highly recommend staying at this hotel! Get the Junior Suite, you will love it! One thing to know is that the location is a little far from the beach area, which we actually liked because it wasn’t in the middle of the congested tourist area, however it does mean a long walk with lots of stairs. If you have mobility issues you might have difficulty. Villa Gabrisa owns a wine shop next door which is really nice and convenient. We loved every minute of our stay and hope to visit again!! :) Thank you Claudia, Jada and Gabriel for everything!

Hotel Villa Gabrisa truly makes you feel like the most important people there. Very family oriented hotel culture. Claudia is amazing! Very informative about the area, and she gave us some great dinner and beach reccomendations. You must try the restaurant at the hotel, you will not regret it. It is so good, people not staying there make reservations days in advance. The staff is welcoming, accommodative and overly friendly. The hotel is beautiful, modern and we loved the little decorative touches. Not to mention, good location with only a 10 minute walk to the main center. Our room was truly a dream, very clean/updated/cute with a stunning view. Will be staying here when we come back 1000%!

My husband and I visited for 4 nights this May - and could not have been happier. Our room was lovely and clean, of course the view was spectacular! We ate dinner at the restaurant one evening, which was excellent. And the breakfast each morning was perfect. We loved the location; about half-way up the hill and on a main road (no dragging suitcases up and down stairs!). It was so convenient - a short and fun walk down to the main areas of town - and a very easy bus ride back up! The service was so friendly - everyone went above and beyond to make us comfortable. I highly recommend this gem!
