Detailed Reviews
La casa di Peppe was the perfect place to stay for our honeymoon. We spent a week in positano after getting married in Capri and it was a total dream. From the moment we were greeted by Peppe and Chiara we felt totally welcomed. We were given a short tour by Peppe when he gave us a little back story about his home and family, very impressive! We were brought up to our suite, we stayed in the New York suite, and after explaining the television and room features we were also given a bottle of chilled wine as a honeymoon gift! The room has a beautiful soaking tub in the bathroom with a window looking over the water, the rain shower head had amazing pressure. The view off of the balcony was unforgettable and we found ourselves out there many times during our stay. We loved that the room has its own Netflix account and we spent many late evenings relaxing with wine and watching movies before bed. Our room was tended to each and every day, their cleaning staff is great. We aren’t big breakfast people so we skipped a few days of breakfast and chiara and Peppe actually checked in with us to make sure that it wasn’t because we wanted anything else (which they were prepared to try to amend breakfast to meet our needs) which was very sweet. Chiara helped us enormously with booking car service/a parking spot for our rental and suggestions on where to eat.
In short, you will not find a place in positano that treats you as well as they do here. Don’t hesitate!

We booked the New York room and it was nothing short of spectacular. Everything was true to the photographs on the website. The bathroom was beautiful and the terrace was huge. The room and property was well-maintained and such a treat to return to every night.
Service was top notch. Elena was waiting for us as soon as we got dropped off on the main road. There was also a porter who took our luggage straight to our room. During check-in, we were given a map and Elena walked us through how to travel throughout the city and gave us recommendations that did not disappoint.
The breakfast was delicious. Every morning, there was a wide selection of pastries, fresh fruit, juices, proscuitto, and much more spread out on a dining table. A staff member was also present and took coffee orders. We had breakfast both mornings we stayed here. There is seating on the terrace where you can enjoy breakfast with a view.
Location was great! We were 400 stairs from Fornillo beach, which is the quieter beach where we ended up spending a day. It sounds like a lot but wasn't too bad. The one way road to the city center was only a 15ish minute walk and was even easier than the 400 steps down to the beach.
We booked this room late and so it turned out to be the most expensive room we stayed in during our 2 week honeymoon. If financially able, I wouldn't hesitate to stay at Peppe's again. It was truly a wonderful experience from start to finish.

La Casa di Peppe has already become an essential part of our annual Amalfi Coast trip. The villa itself is absolutely stunning with every detail meticulously thought out. The feeling of staying in an authentic Positano villa with the most fantastic luxurious views and calmness are worthy alone, but the warmth and hospitality of its staff and Peppe himself is what we keep coming back for. The location is right in the heart of Positano and an easy walk to anywhere and everywhere you would want to go, it couldnt be any better. The breakfasts served at Casa di Peppe were absolutely delicious and with the stunning ocean views alone, are to live for. Also, on our most recent trip we took a delightful cooking class with Elena, which was both, exquisitely delicious and an absolute must do during your stay, especially if you really want to submerge yourself in, learn about and have a taste of the authentic Italian cuisine. All of the ingredients were fresh, organic and locally sourced by Elena herself, an absolute Heaven for the tastebuds. The class was so fun and easy going, while the wine pairings we learned about and tasted were delicious and the atmosphere was magical. Elena is so kind, thoughtful and explains everything so well, time just flew. We werent expecting to have learned so much, that we have already even recreated some of her masterpieces here at home. As I type this, I am already missing Positano and looking forward to our next stay at Casa di Peppe. Can’t recommend it enough, a 100/10 and I guarantee that you wont find a better stay away from home than Casa di Peppe.

This review is long overdue. Peppe's villa was an absolutely unbelievable stay. My wife and I made the choice to stay with Peppe to start our honeymoon in Positano and we would make the choice to stay there again in a heartbeat. Peppe is an excellent host and very knowledgeable about the local culture and cuisine, often helping us arrange transportation, restaurant reservations, and excursions with his network. We would highly recommend La Casa Di Peppe to anyone as the place to stay in Positano!

My husband and I visited Positano and stayed at La Casa Di Pepe for three nights. Wow! What an amazing place to stay. The property is beautiful and the rooms are spacious and very clean. Each room is unique and the bed is comfortable. The property is quiet, clean, and has beautiful flowers and a garden all around.
My favorite part of the entire stay was the cooking class we did with Elena, in the spacious, traditional kitchen. I don’t consider myself a good cook but Elena was so patient, knowledgeable and understanding. I truly felt confident in my cooking abilities afterwards! Elena is so knowledgeable about cooking, and you can tell she is passionate about the traditions of Italy, specifically the way the food is prepared. She educated us in the, “why,” behind how food was prepared, and the traditional way to make it correctly.
We prepared tiramisu, lemon shrimp and pasta, and traditional focaccia, and it was truly the best meal I have ever made and eaten. She showed us how to properly pasteurize eggs, how to de-vein shrimp, and how to make fresh pasta. These are all skills I have never done before, and now I feel more confident in the kitchen. I really recommend taking a cooking class during your stay, the food you make will be better than anything you eat elsewhere.
Also, this property has a sommelier who is so knowledgeable and helpful in selecting a wine to go with dinner. He was so wonderful and taught is a lot about different kinds of wine, and explained to me why I likely enjoyed a specific kind.
Peppe, the owner was also a wonderful host. He was so welcoming and has such an interesting history. You can tell he loves what he does and really loves La Casa Di Peppe. The home has so many incredible historical items, and each has such an interesting story.
Overall, this was the best place to stay, in Positano. It is close to the main town center, and has spectacular views. It is also not far away from the taxi drop off, and luggage assistance is available. There is a staircase (about 430 stairs) to get to and from the beach, and while it was a bit of a workout, it felt good to exercise a little bit.
I am so thankful for everything, Elena and Peppe! We cannot wait to visit again! Thank you both, for everything!
Sincerely,
Victoria & Carter

We stayed with Pepe for our Honeymoon and it was the best time of our trip. The uniqueness of the rooms and the space you get in Positano is really amazing. The villa is located in the quieter side of the island which in our opinion is the best side because of how crazy it can get in the center. The view from our terrace and service we received every morning at breakfast made it so hard to leave. Pepe also plays a huge role in making you feel comfortable and chatting with you about the best things to do in Italy. We can’t recommend staying here enough! Thanks Pepe!

This Villa was the perfect place to stay in Positano. It’s up near the top of the town, which makes it a little tricky to get to, but also a great place to get away from the crowds and noise of the town below at the end of the day. The gardens and balconies are so beautiful and relaxing. Pepe and Elena were amazing hosts who went above and beyond to make our vacation amazing. Not only do they keep the Villa immaculately clean and the beds and pillows perfectly comfortable, but the daily breakfast on the balcony was the perfect way to start every day. Elena was a wealth of information about local restaurants and transit options and all her recommendations were spot on. She helped us book drivers and make reservations and was so kind and friendly. Pepe was so entertaining and told us all about Positano and local stories and characters. The view from our balcony the London Suite was breathtaking and was the perfect place to watch the Ferragosto fireworks. One of my favorite of the many extras that the villa offers is the DYSON hairdryer in the room. The villa is also a 10 minute walk down (430 steps!) down to Fornillo beach which is quieter and a little cheaper to rent chairs than the main beach at the port. The port is about a 20-25 minute walk away. Overall, we could not have asked for better hosts or better accommodations. If you want a relaxing place to stay with helpful and accommodating hosts, stay here.

Casa Di Peppe is a delightful guest house in Positano, much more than just a place to sleep. The rooms have marvelous fittings, comfortably locally styled interiors, and breathtaking views across the Amalfi Coast. Definitely, the staff is very friendly, and all the personnel at this hotel really make you feel like you are part of a family. Definitely, a five-star stay for everyone who wishes to get an unforgettable experience during their visit to Positano.

My wife and I recently stayed at La casa di peppe for 6 nights on our honeymoon in the “royal suite”. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Peppe and Elena were very welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. The villa is centrally located, however has an incredibly private and secluded setting allowing you to be close to all the attractions while insulated from the crowds. It is also very conveniently located to a smaller beach that is significantly less congested than positano’s main beach. The view from the hotel is difficult to describe with words so we’ve included a picture below. We hope to be fortunate enough to stay at Peppes family home again.

We decided to stay at this villa for 3 nights as part of our honeymoon trip to Amalfi Coast and we were not disappointed.
Peppe and Chiara greeted us on arrival and could not have been more helpful. We had an issue with our driver not being able to find the villa when departing so Peppe phoned him several times to give directions etc.
The room was amazing and the view from our balcony was spectacular. We booked the London suite.
The TV came with English speaking channels aswell as Netflix - something not all hotels on the coast offer.
With Positano famous for so many steep climbs for beaches, restaurants, shops etc. we found the location of the villa to be perfect. 10 minutes to the nearest beach while a 2 minute walk got you to several restaurants and a shop.
We would definitely recommend this villa.
Thank you, Ronan and Carol, Dublin.
