La Reginella is a typical Mediterranean building situated in the heart of Positano. The hotel is surrounded by the most spectacular landscape of the Amalfi Coast, with the characteristic houses perched along the mountainside. La Reginella, whilst boasting stunning views, is also very convenient for the unique local shops. The beach can be reached easily on foot by a walk along the small road which passes the hotel. If you prefer, you could take the steps, the famous "Scalinatella longa, longa, longa..." of the world-famous Neapolitan song, which bring you to Positano’s beach and squares within five minutes. The large rooms, double, triple, and quadruple, are all complete with private bathrooms, air conditioning, central heating, TV, and balconies, and have a fantastic view. The balconies of all rooms overlook Positano's "Spiaggia delle Sirene," the sea, and the wonderful landscape of the Amalfi Coast. Most rooms have a bathroom decorated with the colourful tiles from Vietri.

Hotel is located on street level so you don’t have lug your bags and you do have the option of getting a taxi right outside your door!
We had a room with balcony on second floor. View from the balcony was breathtaking!!
Staff was friendly, AC was nice and strong 😊. Room was clean and comfortable. Beds will only fit 2 adults, not sure if there are any cots available. Mini fridge stocked with very reasonably priced water, soda and beer which was very convenient when we came back from a long day of roaming in the heat! Small bar tucked away in the lobby, where we had one of the best tasting Aperol Spritz!
Breakfast was basic, yet fresh and tasty. Brekfast is delivered to the room. There is a great gelato place attached to the hotel, right next door.
My husband asked the staff when does the bar close, they said “never”😄 Staff helped us get dinner reservations, boat trip bookings and airport transfer! They were friendly and warm. Overall a great stay!

This is a beautiful hotel tucked halfway up the Positano hillside with stunning views of the coast line, mountains, beach, and city. The staff were so helpful, cheerful, and kind. The breakfast was delicious and promptly delivered to our room in the morning. The team helped arrange transportation to and from the airport, our excursions, and helped us when a shuttle bus didn’t show up.
We stayed in a double and triple room and both were excellent. They had a unique layout, design, and decor. The balconies feature chairs and a table perfect for breakfast or drinks, a a clothing drying rack for beachwear.
They had USB ports next to their wall outlets for convenient charging, good wifi speeds, extra toilettes, and bidets in each room. I also really liked that we were asked to leave the key with the front desk, as it was one less thing to carry during our walks around the city.
The location was perfect and provided multiple routes between the beach, shopping, and restaurants. Near the hotel is less busy than downtown, making it quieter while still nearby great food and drinks.
There is a lot of walking in Positano, and this hotel is halfway up the hill. For us it was a good balance of distance from attractions and vistas from the room. Do note that we walked more than 10k steps per day every day we were in the city.
I look forward to our next stay here as we had a wonderful time.

We stayed 4 nights and the room is immaculate and big. The bathroom tile and shower were beautiful. The views from the balcony are beautiful. Its near restaurants and shopping. Any walk in Positano is up and down a hill or steps so this is a good location half-way up the hill. There are no elevators in some of the hotels so if you can't go up steps it would be a problem. They have a small baggage elevator to get the luggage upstairs. When the balcony doors are closed you hear no noise even though you are on a busy street. The staff is friendly. Wi-Fi worked for us. You get breakfast in your room each morning and you must order it the night before. If you arrive by ferry pay the porters at the port to bring your luggage up to the hotel. You should not try to pull it up the hill if you are walking up to the hotel.

We loved staying here! From the time we checked in until checkout, everything was absolutely perfect! The staff were very welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. The room was clean, had a stunning view, and the location was great! Due to COVID, breakfast was chosen from a menu and delivered to the room. We thoroughly enjoyed having breakfast on the balcony enjoying the sea view and the in-room mini bar was also very affordable! For the price and location, this is the perfect boutique hotel for your stay in Positano! I highly recommended this charming hotel.

This is the place. Positano is beautiful but also overwhelming and confusing as hell. As an American, it's a big leap of faith to hand off my luggage to some randos on the ferry dock who promise to bring our bags to the Reginella, but they did and my wife and I were able to enjoy the uphill climb/stroll to Reginella unencumbered.
The staff is so friendly and helpful; they helped order us a car to the Path of the Gods (closer to Amalfi) and make dinner reservations around town every night. The breakfast spread is pretty extensive, heavy on the pastries but definitely enough to fll you up for your big (whatever you have planned). My wife and I stayed in the upstairs "apartment" around the corner, and if you can book this room, DO IT: the views of Positano are legit some of the best in town from the hundred foot long, almost 180-degree balcony. Seriously, it's such a nice room, you may not even need to go out for dinner one night. And if you do stay in, there's a neat little grocery/deli nearby that sells everything you need.
Stay here; you won't regret it.

We had a lovely three nights' stay in Hotel Reginella. The location of the hotel is splendid - sufficiently elevated that you've amazing views of Positano, but not too elevated that it's a pain to get to the beach and harbour. Being in the middle also means it's not too far from the main road if you're traveling by bus.
It takes about 20 mins to travel to the hotel from the pier if you take a gentle but longer winding path, or less than 10 mins if you take the stairs (which are of course physically taxing if you're going uphill).
We stayed at the partial city view room, but it still had a wonderful balcony with a view of the city and parts of the harbour. The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, and the bed was comfortable.
The breakfast (which is served to your room) is wonderful with a wide choice of Italian and continental breakfast options.
The service was impeccable - every single member of the hotel team we met was warm and personable.
All in all, it's a superb choice for a break in Positano.

We had a 2 bedroom ocean view room and the view was spectacular. The room was nice with 2 bathrooms but overall it was a little dated and the shower pressure was not great. The owners are really lovely and welcoming. It was an easy walk down the road to the shops, restaurants and beach
Probably the main thing we didn't really like was their rules around not allowing you put your own food and drinks in your room fridge! I know they have a reasonably priced mini bar but they didn't have what we like. Also you are not allowed guests to come up to your room, a friend of my sons came to the hotel to pick him up was was not allowed up. A bit too strict rules compared to other hotels so not sure if we would stay again.

We stayed here for two nights on our 10 day trip to Italy. This hotel is immaculate and you can't beat the views you have from the balcony. Breakfast is brought to your room each morning so you can enjoy it on the balcony. The food was great! You order from a list the night before and they bring it to you hot and fresh. It was fabulous!
We were on the 2nd floor and we worried about the noise from the street below. But once we closed the shutters and balcony doors, we didn't hear a thing. It was actually pretty impressive!
Great hotel in a great location. You can take the stairs (400 they said) or you can walk along the road to get to the middle of Positano.
We arrived by car so there wasn't a need for a porter to take our luggage for us. But if you arrive by boat, I highly recommend paying the 10 euros to let them take it to the hotel for you.
Great stay and would stay here again.

Very cozy hotel with fine location close to the beach and city center. Just be prepared for walking “a few” steps on your way to seaside. Parking is not really easy in the area, but the reception arranged it for us with cost of 30 EUR.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Reginella at the beginning of August 2023! The view was stunning! The staff was very kind and made us feel well taken care of. The beds were comfortable and the room was very clean. We loved that we could order breakfast or drinks to be delivered to our room. The food and drinks were very good! It was nice that the hotel was located on the road instead of stairs, so dropping off luggage was a breeze. The walk to the beach is about 15 minutes but we felt like we were located conveniently to walk to all of our dinner reservations and anywhere else that we wanted to go. The hotel provides beach towels and a beach bag to carry them in. We booked a private transfer to and from Naples which was very helpful and priced fairly. We were sad to have to leave this beautiful hotel & city when our vacation was over and can’t wait to return someday!

Hi,
the hotel is on the road level so cars can stop right at the door.
Most rooms have a sea-view, except for the standard category with partial city view.
regards
Dear guest
standard rooms have just a partial view of the sea and of the town. Superior rooms all have full sea view balcony. You can check detailed photos of the views on our official webpage.
best regards
I wish I could help. We stayed in a 1 bedroom on the floor above the lobby.
