I stayed at Hotel Savoia for over a week and just returned. This hotel was absolute perfection from the ambiance, rooms, service, cleanliness, breakfast, location and stunning views of Positano from my room. My mom and I would sit on our terrace in the morning and night and sip wine and take in the amazing view of Positano. The breakfast each morning was so good, especially the coffee and croissants! The staff went above and beyond anytime j had a question about anything during my stay. The rooms were very clean - never had an issues. You cannot ask for a better location - right in the heart of Positano just a few walking minutes from the beach, shopping and restaurants. I did happen to leave my phone in the room on my day of departure and received an email from the hotel that it was found by the cleaners before even letting them know I was missing it. They shipped it to me in less than 24 hours. I will definitely be back to beautiful Positano and would not stay anywhere from else and will recommend this hotel to my travel instagram followers as well! I am very picky about where I stay and travel often and this hotel really went above and beyond my expectations!

Family owned & operated (they speak english) & TRUST ME! from check in to check out they make you feel like Family. The rooms are spotless(bring the white gloves if you want) Housekeepers work hard all day. The complementary breakfast was fresh from the
fruit, cold cuts & assorted breads. Don't forget the espresso! The waiters work hard to please. Now they have an in house Restaurant that is a must take & i would put it up against any others in the area. I ate there
3 nights. The food was awesome & the kitchen is wide open for your viewing. Again the wait staff was there for your beckoning needs. That said lets get down to the
BAR!! It will be a sin if you leave the hotel to venture out without hitting the bar for a
drink of your choice. Bar manager Mauro & his Staff Roberto & Ivan who also make you feel like family & (they are also waiters at the restaurant) are on their game day & night to insure you a memorable stay. I will no doubt be heading back there again this year.

I had such an experience !The hotel is in a perfect location right in the centre of Positano.
My room had an amazing terrace with a view which leaves you breathless; I took the suite (room 411) so I would take a bath in the evening and admire the 'vertical city'.
Breakfast was very nice too.
Great stay and will do it all over again! A special thanks to Christina (who's one of the family owners) who looked after me making the bookings for beaches and giving great advices.

Thanks again,

Best,

Vincenzo S. ( room 411)

The hotel is in a great location in Positano. It’s a 5 minute walk downhill from the Sponda bus stop. It’s an easy 10-15 minute walk down to the beach and boats with shops and restaurants along the way (but if u are arriving by boat with luggage I recommend hiring a porter). It’s high enough for a view and away from all the noise of the beach/tourist landing area without being so high up that you spend all your time getting back down. The breakfast was great fresh fruit and pastries, eggs, yogurts, etc. our room (310) was small but functional; the mattress was too hard for our taste. The balcony had a slice of town and water view. The staff was helpful in making reservations and arranged private car back to airport. There is an elevator. The room had a mini bar fridge. We ate twice at a restaurant up the street called Brunos amazing view of u eat outside and cozy authentic feel on inside. We also bought a new outfit at a shop next to Bruno. So the location really worked well for us.

I reserved this hotel in positano with many considerations before. But, my choice was perfect ! Really love this hotel, beautiful hotel. Nothing luxury but its beautiful, and they had great view with reasonable price.

Breakfast was great, i love their croissant !
The staff also friendly.

When i arrived i just shocked with their elevator, it's so tiny but compatible for 2-3 persons.

Their location also strategic, near the bus stop (SITA).

For starters, the views and location of the hotel were absolutely great. Short walk to the beach, town square/shopping, and Positano restaurants. Every staff member, from food to concierge, went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The girls at the front desk helped us with restaurants, day-time activities, finding transportation, anything we needed they were extremely helpful.

The room itself was great with awesome views, when we come back to Positano, we won’t even consider staying anywhere else.

I cannot say enough good things about this precious gem of a hotel. For starters my family of 6 (4 children and 2 adults), were suppose to be in Maui this August for our family vacation. When the Maui wildfire prevented that, we decided to join my parents for a last minute trip to Positano (coming from the US). Since it was a last minute booking, I was nervous about our accommodations.

We travel all over the world, and Hotel Savoia is now my favorite boutique hotel! The hotel location is PERFECT! It is located right outside of the pedestrian walkway (where the shops are). Low enough that you are not killing yourself to get up higher, but high enough to have a remarkable view. Trust me, it’s still a lot of walking from the main beach up to hotel Savoia, you get a workout every time, but I couldn’t imagine being in a lower or higher location (if that makes sense) it’s perfect!

The rooms were incredibly clean. We shared 2 jacuzzi suites. Our 3 teenagers were in one, with a roll away, and we were in the other room with our youngest. Additionally the staff positioned our 2 rooms right next to one another, we had our own corridor, so it was as if we had our own little slice of the hotel.

A little side note, this hotel will wash your clothing for 25 euros a bag. This was a HUGE plus for us, as we had a long trip planned with 4 kids and only did a small carryon for each person.

Overall, I would return to Hotel Savoia in a second! We were incredibly pleased with this hotel.

Thank you Hotel Savoia for making our family trip to Positano so incredible!!! ❤️❤️❤️

We stayed for 5 nights for our honeymoon.

From the moment we booked, the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Starting with arranging private transfers to and from the airport.

We booked an executive room with jacuzzi, with a beautiful view of Positano. The room was exquisitely decorated. Cleaning staff were great and towels replaced each day.

Front desk were on hand to answer any of our queries, and I overheard them helping to arrange boat trips and dinner reservations for other hotel guests. They couldn’t have been more helpful!

We ordered room service on a couple of occasions for drinks and breakfast on the balcony, again service was fantastic and orders delivered very quickly.

Food and drinks were of high quality, we ate at the restaurant twice and had pre-dinner drinks every night. The service at the bar and restaurant was fantastic, special mention to Salvatore and Davide for being so attentive!

Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better hotel to spend our time in Positano. Brilliant location, room, food and 5 star service.

We can’t wait to come back!!

Initially, I did not have high expectations as we booked this hotel last minute. From the time of booking till the day of checkout I received the best service from their staff. I was extremely surprised at the price of this hotel as the location is probably one of the best in Positano. It's walking distance to the beach (5 min), many bus stops outside, and close to many great restaurants (Bruno). The staff here are honestly so sweet and made our stay more pleasant. Views from the room are INSANE. Taxis were arranged for our dinners and everything about this hotel was fantastic.

We loved this hotel! It's a combination of location and quaintness. The location is high enough up on the cliffs where you have amazing views and can be dropped off by a vehicle directly at your hotel, but it's low enough towards the sea where it's steps from the "walk only" section of the city and not that bad of walk down to the sea. The hotel itself is lovely and the hotel staff and waitresses are so very nice and always helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel and we can't wait to return!
