We were on the coast in late September and early October this year. It was raining heavily off and on, so the ferries were not running and both tourists and locals alike were clogging the bus lines and cabs. We were able to book a last minute one night stay at Hotel Pupetto in a great room for a great price. Our room had a large patio area overlooking the beach there, and the room was spacious for it not being a suite of any kind. It did have a mini fridge with a few things stocked inside as well. Dinner and breakfast at the restaurant were outstanding and the staff was friendly. I would say that while the regular price for these rooms is on the higher side of what we would have paid, it was worth the packed car ride we shared with other travelers to get here for this quick stay. Positano itself has what seems to be a higher level of tourists from all over, and there are many stores to shop for clothing, art goods and restaurants.…

My wife and I stayed for 4 nights and could not have been happier with the location or the level of service. Magda and the entire staff treated us like absolute royalty. One example is that the delicious breakfast buffet closes at 10:30am but on our romantic trip we wanted to sleep until noon. No problem! They filled up 4 plates with food and brought them to our room along with hot coffee whatever time we decided to wake up! Our bags were hand delivered to and from the parking garage way up the mountain to our room at no cost. The restaurant had a prime table with a beautiful view for us every night and the food was delicious. And the views.. THE VIEWS… we’re absolutely breathtaking from either the restaurant or our private balcony. We could hear the waves crashing and see the moon and stars sparking off the water. The whole experience was like my dream of what some other person’s ideal vacation must be like. But it was real. I could not possibly recommend The Hotel Pupetto more highly and I genuinely hope to stay there again someday.…

Our experience at Hotel Puppeto was amazing. The location was perfect as it was right on the beach but still only a short walk from the marina and restaurants/shops. Veronica and Gabrielle both made us feel welcomed and Veronica even helped us with shipping items back to the USA. The waiters on the beach were quick to take our food and drink orders as well as setting us up with our umbrella and spot on the beach. The room was really nice with a view of the sea from our balcony. The breakfast spread was just right and we even ate one night at the restaurant where the food was excellent. Overall, a very pleasant stay at Hotel Pupetto. The only downside was that you had to walk about 1/2 mile to the nearest bus stop or taxi stand. Otherwise I would highly recommend staying here.

From greeting at ferry to check in to room to dinner to sleep to breakfast to swim on the most beautiful beach to check out to luggage being brought to taxi our stay was perfect. So hard to leave this beautiful property…..We will come again

Great property located right on a private beach with easy access via level walkway to the main Positano beach area and shopping/restaurants. Our room had beautiful views from the huge patio. Quite a few steps down from taxi drop off but porters we’re waiting and took our bags directly to our room. Great staff and wonderful restaurant. Did I mention the views - lol.

We loved our stay in Pupetto. The hotel is situated right on the beach in Positano with the most gorgeous outlook. There is a picturesque easily walked pathway into the main square . The staff are very helpful and in particular with assisting with luggage which can be difficult in such a hilly place such as Positano. The hotel was clean but not luxurious. Replacement of drinking cups would have been good. Thoroughly recommend this lovely hotel.

We visited mid October and were blessed with the weather, sunshine with temps in the low 20s. Such a beautiful hotel in a stunning location. Perfect if you want to be tucked away from the town of Positano but still close as a short walk away. The restaurant and gardens were absolutely beautiful and it was a pleasure to have our breakfast their with an amazing view of the sea. The rooms were simple but very comfortable and had everything you needed for your stay, the best part was opening the balcony doors to the sea view - just wow! The staff are very friendly and couldn't of been more helpful. We had a very relaxing stay as a couple and would absolutely love to come back again with our children. We loved the beach too, very chilled vibe and the drinks & food were very good and very reasonably priced compared to town itself. We squeezed in a day trip to Capri, easy 30min boat trip away which I would definitely recommend. Thank you so much Pupetto for a wonderful stay :)…

The hotel was excellent! Our room was very clean and spacious. The food at the restaurant was really good and the breakfasts were super with a lot of choices. Having the beach right there was a total plus! Excellent service as well; the porters that helped us with our luggage were waiting for us, as promised. We have no complaints at all. Hope to be able to return.

The double standard room was a little small and old. But the view was incredible, 30 m away from the beach. Very good restaurant and breakfast buffet. Just many many stairs from parking to hotel. You could sleep with waves sound. I loved here.
