My husband and I stayed here as the last leg of our Italian honeymoon and we really enjoyed our time here. It's a short walk from the ferry to the hotel, and though it's tucked away from the main part of Positano, that made our stay relaxing and quiet. Plus it's a fairly quick walk to the center of the...

Hotel Puppetto is an amazing place. If you're looking for a hotel in the heart of Positano this isn't it. This is a quiet beachfront getaway from the hustle and bustle of "touristville." It is much more of a full service resort, a la something you'd find in Mexico instead of Italy. You can charge your activies and food straight...

We stayed here in August 2014 and fell in love with Positano! Our arrival was alarming to say the least! The taxi stops and drops you off, your cases disappear and you are directed to another hotel's lift! After a rapid plummet, you make your way through a gate and begin the most spectacular descent to the beach. Certainly not...

It's really hard to find a waterfront hotel in Positano that won't cost you a grand a night. That said, Pupetto isn't as luxe or renovated as what a hotel elsewhere will cost you for the same price. Rooms are outdated, and our beachfront, first floor room was VERY noisy during the day. Also, the shower flooded the entire bathroom...

Hotel Pupetto has a great location right on the smaller less crowded beach of Positano. It is great if you do not want to have that dreaded hike up and down those stairs just to enjoy the beach. The customer service is top notch too. However please note that this is a 3 star hotel and the rooms themselves do...

A super fast Italian frecciarossa train took us from Florence to Salerno in under 4 hours! At 399km an hour we were flying from North valley to the Mediterranean down South! At Salerno, we took the ferry- Concordia, Maria Madre to Positano. It was all so easy to do and travelling internally is such comfort. All this was suggested to...

We had room 240 and it was a laaaarge room, decorated in a lovely style, with plenty of wardrobe space, an inside lounge area opening onto a large private balcony, with sun lounges, table, chairs and umbrella. The views are amazing, both during the day and during the night. Impeccable cleanliness on arrival and throughout our stay. The staff (at...

This was perfect since you have a semiprivate beach that was less much crowded. The breakfast was excellent the local "cornettos" are to die for !!! The service was great and the sea views are exquisite! It's a 10 min walk to the central "piazza" if you take their walkway with is much better than going up the steps !!

Nearly 100 years old. Rooms are tiny, but who cares about rooms by the most beautiful see in the world (after Adriatic, of course). Hotel has everything one needs. Victoria at the reception as well as all other people at that desk - amazing. They will go the distance to help you with whatever you need. Hotel restaurant terrace was...
