Original plans cancelled due to Covid. I did not ask for a refund because I wanted to reschedule. The hotel said I had to travel in 2022. I was not able to travel in 2022, and I wanted to travel September 2023. After many emails, hotel said it was not possible. I thought a hotel in off season holding 850 euros for a deposit, would be more flexible. I did not want to ask for a refund because the world went crazy. I thought I was helping the hotel during a time when they had no income at all. Italy had shut down. No good deed goes unpunished.

We celebrated our wedding and spent five nights here in July. Amazing experience that continued to exceed our expectations each day! The team at the hotel went above and beyond to make our stay easy and memorable. From the moment we checked in, we felt welcomed in a way you don’t typically get from a hotel - they had a genuine eagerness to help us arrange services, make phone calls, etc. Antonella was a pleasure to work with and checked in with us multiple times to make sure our wedding went off without a hitch. Salvatore went out of his way to help us pick wines for our wedding dinner, and his team delivered one of the most memorable and high-quality meals we’ll ever have. The setting, combined with the charm of the hotel, made for an absolutely magical wedding venue. Fully recommend it to anyone who may be contemplating a wedding. We did a lot of walking around Positano and all agreed that the Hotel Marincanto is likely the best-located property in town. Possibly the best views, a quick downhill stroll to the heart of town, removed enough from the heavy crowds, and a handful of options right nearby. We experienced a few different rooms - the L’Incanto Suite is out of the world. Totally worth it for a special occasion. The other rooms are all unique from each other and charming - but with varying levels of views, furnishings, etc so it’s hard to know exactly what you’ll get. We ended up really enjoying the pool - it was fun to chat with other guests and enjoy food and drinks in a neat environment. We did wish the pool opened a bit earlier or stayed open a bit later, though. Free chairs down by the beach was a nice bonus, too! And breakfast was great - food was so fresh and a nice range of options to kick off each day. We’ll definitely be back at some point in the future!…

Thanks to you Dario! We had an incredible stay with our room overlooking the beautiful sea, attached with Jacuzzi made it even more memorable. 5 days of pure bliss & magic! Hotels location is perfect in every way. The moment our car halted our luggage was taken care of immediately by the young gentleman.

From the service to the view- we loved this hotel. The staff was all extremely helpful, from restaurant suggestions to making reservations and arranging taxis service. The room was so clean. View from our room was breathtaking. The breakfast was delicious and we had a wonderful dinner at the restaurant.

We recently returned from a three night stay in Positano at the Hotel Marincanto and had the most amazing time. The hotel staff was warm and welcoming and provided recommendations and helped secure reservations throughout our stay. From the moment we arrived and were handed a refreshing lemonade, through the entirety of our stay, Marincanto exceeded our expectations every step of the way. The Prestige Suite was beyond beautiful and provided the perfect place to lay our heads. From the incredibly large terrace, filled with a grove of lemon and lime trees along with hibiscus blooms, to the marble jacuzzi facing the sea, we could not have loved the room more. I could not recommend this hotel more and we look forward to returning someday soon to experience what can only be described as paradise. …

We where blessed to have Antonella Coppola as our go to person at the hotel from day one when we booked months ahead to the moment we arrived and checked out .This women is the Michaelangelo of hotels accommodations.....everything she promised she delivered big time ...all the staff was amazing as was the service and the hotel restaurant food was 5 star as was the breakfast.....she treated us like royalty....having Antonella was better than hitting the lottery....Noreen and I thank you from the bottom of our heart for making our 70th birthday and our 50th wedding anniversary a time we will never ever forget.....our hearts are full....like the ocean unforgettable was our stay at Hotel Marincanto and we have all this because of Antonella. We spent 4 nights at Hotel Marincanto. This trip has been booked since 2019. The staff have beyond wonderful to work with during all the travel restrictions. They never collected any money from us until August , 30 days before our arrival. Location is perfect. We had the postcard Positano view. The room was fine (not luxurious ) but with an odd color scheme. Having a pool and beach access included was HUGE! I don’t think many hotels offer this. I cannot tell you how many people tried to access our beach area ( it’s not actually on the sand but was a few steps up on a concrete slab) . Marincanto beach setup is adjacent with a private beach club. There was an attendant at the entrance explaining to people it was private. The staff and location are the real standout here. The staff scored us dinner reservations at La Sponda ( something I was not able to do in my own). The front desk staff are all amazing. We had an early morning departure so we were going to miss breakfast. They had a care package waiting for us at check out of a light snack to take with us. Our last full day in Positano was awful weather. We went to the lobby for hot chocolate. When they bought us out the hot chocolate they included complimentary cookies. Such a nice thoughtful touch. Luigi the bartender is also wonderful. Breakfast on the terrace is absolutely beautiful. The terrace (Cele) is an absolutely beautiful location. We were able to watch a wedding from our balcony. It was beautiful. I can see why this is a popular wedding spot. They even had fireworks after. We really loved our time in Positano and really glad we chose this hotel. We would not have been happy paying for beach access every day! For that alone, this hotel is worth checking out.…

Just back after 4 nights at this amazing hotel. It is like heaven, the place is so clean, the staff so friendly special word to Dario, Giuseppe, Maria and Joel at the pool. They couldn't do enough for you. The breakfast choice is amazing and delicious with something for everyone. The pool and views are amazing. The hotel is a 10min walk to the bars and restaurants. 10/10 for this hotel with no faults.

After 3 years of trying, my son married his, now wife, at Marincanto in Positano. I have to say, it was worth waiting for and made to be an amazing and memorable experience, of course by the bridal party, but also hats off to the wonderful organiser, Antonella and her fantastic support staff. I really can't comment on the hotel itself as we did not stay there, but if the outside ambience, the classy reception area, bar, and outside seating and terraces are to go by, I suggest that the whole place is the same. The venue was so beautiful and romantic, from the pre-reception drinks and nibbles terrace, to the lay out for the reception itself. I was allowed to say a few words at the reception and hope I did not offend our friendly Italian staff with my mention of Qatar 2022!!! Sorry! Highly recommend this place and Antonella for any wedding arrangements...only word of advice is your accommodation should be at the hotel or at the same level. The walking is not for the faint hearted...its very 'hilly'! Thanks everyone, it was amazing.…

We stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is situated in probably the best location in Positano and has a beautiful private beach which was incredible! ….HOWEVER the service during our stay there was comical! 50 min wait for a wrong lunch order, no waiting staff to be seen at breakfast, anybody you could find would refuse to take our order (claiming it was another waitresses responsibility) …..hotel phone going unanswered for 20 minutes (from both internal hotel phone and trying externally) to try get an iron to the room …and worse of all management just didn’t seem to care. you would find better service at a hostel. The food was average. We tried to make peace with the horrendous service so as not to ruin our honeymoon and the beautiful surroundings, but difficult when it’s that bad. All of the guests at the beach seemed to agree so not sure if it was a staffing issue at a particular point in time. Would recommend for location and view but the rest unfortunately was abysmal.…
