We flew from Boston to Frankfurt to Napoli and were met by our driver (recommended by a friend) and driven along autostrade, through tunnels, and along the winding coast road, arriving somewhat blitzed at the Nocelle parking lot about three o'clock in the afternoon, having been en route for 26 hours by the clock (20 hours in real time). Staggered...

This is just wonderful as long as you are ok with steps...they are everywhere in the village of Nocelle, where this B&B is. Not the place for people unable or disinclined to use their legs , as you can't avoid the steps. (However, you can rest all you like whilst looking at the sublime views of the coast)! Family run...

We stayed here for 6 nights as part of a holiday around the Amalfi Cost and it's a fabulous place. Some of the other reviews are accurate in that it is in a quiet village and off the beaten track but the views and accommodation make it all so worthwhile. Positano as a place is beautiful and we would recommend...

This B&B is not in Positano. This is located in Nocelle, which is 30-50 minutes of either €1.30 bus ride or €60 taxi. Here are pros and cons. Pros: the view and hospitality. Our room has a balcony with the view of Positano. The bathroom is spacious and clean. The hosts were very nice. Cons: Location, bed, limited selection breakfast...

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa la Quercia. Carmela and Salvator were fantastic hosts and happy to answer any and all of our questions. The breakfast was great with excellent cappuccinos. The view from our villa was spectacular. The villa was very tidy and clean however could benefit from some minor upgrades with bed/bedding. The shower...

It was a nice place - BUT poor breakfast (good capuccinos only) and WAY TOO FAR from the center : Positano. It is a good 30-35 mins bus ride to go. Bus runs on hour schedule only. I was disappointed...

We were not expecting such a brilliant facility when initially booking our four nights in Nocelle/Positano (€70 per night). This included breakfast and a BREATHTAKING view from our balcony and terrace common-area. Breakfast was coffee (cappucino, espresso, americano, whatever you'd like), croissants, yoghurt, fresh fruit, ham/cheese/rolls. The reviews are true, that you have to time your trips in and out...

Villa La Quercia is tucked away up in the hills overlooking Positano, in the lovely village of Nocelle. Carmela and Salvatore are great hosts who provide lovely clean accommodation and a nice breakfast and I can vouch for the cappuccino! Note that the stairs from the car park are at the END of the car park and are the ones...

Wow. This B&B is simply amazing. Perched up in the sleepy, charming and local town of Nocelle, 450m above the commercial hustle & bustle of Positano. The term 'Room with a view' doesn't even come close to giving this place justice. We stayed here for 5 days and could have easily stayed another week. The owners Charmila & Selvatore were...

First of all, you must be aware that the location of this hotel (it's the same for all lodging in Nocelle) is not very easy to get to. If you're driving and you're using a GPS, some GPS's will lead you to the bottom of the 2000 steps stairs that lead from Positano to Nocelle. That's probably not what you...
