Me and my wife spent out honeymoon in Positano, and stayed in Casa Guadagno. Such a wonderful place, we really enjoyed our time there. The three person room had a little terrace with a stunning view to the sea, and the room itself was clean and cute with beautiful ceramic tiles and all the necessary amenities. The hotel personnel were friendly and helpful, we really felt at home. Breakfast was versatile and tasty, and enjoying it while peering the view to the town and down to the beach was a great start for each day. Location-wise the we were really happy as well: the hotel is located near to the cosy Fornillo beach, and to the town centre there was a delightful walk of about 10 minutes. The Chiesa Nuova bus stop is also right nearby for catching a lift to Sorrento or Amalfi. Highly recommended!

We loved this gem of a small hotel! It is nestled in the Fornillo district of Positano (just to the west of the main town center). We enjoyed a quick swim at the less crowded Fornillo Beach, then walked along the shore and up to the town center to enjoy our day in beautiful Positano. The hotel was kind enough to assist us in finding a private car transfer from Naples to Positano (highly recommend Positano Tourismo), and make dining recommendations. We chose Ristorante Guarrancino. It did not disappoint with delicious food and beautiful harbor (moonlit) views. The restaurant was also within walking distance from the hotel, just to the east of Fornillo Beach. Our room was beautiful. Tiled floor, bathroom tiled with colorful local ceramic tile, beautiful view of the sea. Very comfortable very clean very pleasant. We had a balcony and after dinner we just sat there and enjoyed the moonlight and the peacefulness of Positano. Thank you Pensione Casa Guadagno for a truly lovely stay and for all assistance.

Instead of staying at neighboring Sorrento and bussing into the Amalfi Coast for 2-3 days straight, my new wife and I decided we were going to stay in the heart of Positano for our honeymoon. We found Casa Guadagno, and it was PERFECT. It was the exact combination of ideal location, affordability, and accommodations. In fact we decided to stay an extra day there because were enjoying our time so much in the city, and it was great that the hotel host, Jessica, was more than willing to accommodate our last minute change of reservation. Special Shoutout to Jessica: She could not have been more friendly and helpful. Each day, we walked to the front desk to discuss our day's plans with her, and she was always there to give us some traveling tips and helpful information that kept us feeling comfortable the entire time. When we needed help navigating the city to try and make it to the other side for a hike the very next day, within an hour, she was able to make us reservations for a shuttle for a pickup the very next morning. That level of efficient and hospitable service is perhaps the greatest asset to the property from a service level. Thanks Jessica for all your help! Each morning we had a lovely breakfast on their indoor/outdoor terrace overlooking the center of Positano on one side, and the beautiful Fornillo beach on the other. Guests can easily walk to the hear of Positano within 15 minutes, and we were lucky to have samples at least a half a dozen of the restaurants and cafes within a 5-10 minute of the hotel. All of Positano is built into the cliffside of the Amalfi Coast, so be prepared for uphill and downhill walks no matter where you're headed, but you get used to it pretty soon. The room was comfortable, but the balcony and the views are what made it that much more special. The biggest surprise hit of the room was the hang-dry rack on the balcony. With 2 weeks of a vacation scheduled for us, we were able to wash some of our clothes in the bathtub, and dry them overnight on the rack outside. I'm telling you, it's the little things :)

It is a lovely B&B with great service and clean, comfortable rooms. The views from the terrace were honestly amazing. Jessica at the front desk was friendly and helpful, recommending nearby restaurants and helping us book a cruise. The breakfast choices were plentiful, with fresh fruit and even gluten free options - all served on the terrace with amazing views. Yes, there are quite a number of steps to get to either beach, but that is true of most of Positano. It's just 2 minutes from the main road where there are buses/taxis. We had an amazing stay and highly recommend it!

Stayed here for 2 nights and had a great stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. Views from the room/balcony were also amazing. Good location close to restaurants and beach. Breakfast had lots of options and was a great touch. Rooms were spacious and clean. Our only complaint would be uncomfortable beds but overall great stay would stay again next time in Positano.
