Villa Magia Suites is the only of its kind on the whole of the Amalfi Coast, as one of the few properties which can be easily reached from the center of town, yet with unencumbered views over the Mediterranean and large indoor and outdoor spaces The original property was builded up in the 18th Century as one of the many watchtowers that former inhabitants of Amalfi Coast were used to build up to advise population of Saracens Pirate’s attacks. In the 20th century other 2 levels have been added, making of this villa one of the hugest properties in the very center of Positano. In 2015, after another 2 levels addition, we decided to share the beauty of our place turning the property into a luxury, smal and charming boutique Hotel. OUR STYLE: Villa Magia is a small luxury boutique hotel. We have only 12 rooms; that allows us to try to give the perfect service to our guests, also respecting their own privacy. Our happy and welcoming staff is available 24 hours a day 7 days a week for any kind of request you would need to be satisfied. It’s an innovative way to feel relationship between staff and guest, we want you to feel like in your house and we’ll try to do our best to experience our new way to make high quality tourism. I don’t even know where to start. After months of planning, I started to believe my expectations couldn’t be met. The staff here surpassed my wildest dreams of a holiday in Positano. Everything about this place is magical- the lovely staff, the daily breakfasts, the pools, the views, the rooms. Every detail has been thought of. Such a lovely place to enjoy the Amalfi Coast. Highly recommend for families or couples.

This is a difficult review to write. The hotel is beautiful, the suites are lovely, the view is amazing, and the staff is world class. But my wife and I were "blind sided" by how difficult it was to access the hotel. Too many stairs! [I know, I know. It is Positano, so expect lots of stairs.] However, there are only 2 ways to get to the hotel - from the lower road (10-minute walk to town) it is 190 stairs up to the hotel. From the upper road (a taxi or bus to town) it is 90 stairs down to the hotel. Imagine showing up at a hotel in NYC that is spectacular, has great views, and terrific service only to find out that it is a 13-story "walk up". Ouch. Our strategy was to walk down the 13 flights of stairs and then walk 10 minutes to town. To get back we took a 30-euro taxi from town to the upper road access and walked down the 8 flights of stairs to the hotel. It was workable, but really forced us to "strategize" our day. Strolling back and forth from hotel to town was not an option. The reviews that say it is a "short walk" to town are very, very misleading. If you are mobility challenged in any way, this is not the hotel for you. The stairs are rocky, hundreds of years old, with no handrails in many spots. Again, the hotel and staff were great. And, if you are a fitness junkie, the workout might suit you well. But other than that, just be prepared. …

From the moment we arrived at this hotel we were made to feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Our room had a breath taking view of Positano and the sea. It is in a truly stunning location. Everything had been thought of to make this room like a home from home. We had dinner at the hotel which was magical outside overlooking the coastline and the twinkling lights of Positano. Unfortunately we only stayed one night at this beautiful hotel so didn't get to use all the amazing facilities on offer but that gives us the perfect excuse for another visit!

I wish they had a 6/5 ranking on Trip Advisor because that's what I would give Villa Magia!!! This is truly a heavenly place to stay. From the minute you walk up to the villa with its jasmine trees making the air smell even more sweet you are blown away by the beauty of its views and terraces. Every detail has been thought out and we have rarely stayed in a place that has thought of everything that you might need! We stayed in the family villa and had the most delicious breakfasts on our private terrace, which was truly MAGICAL! The rooms were pristine with gorgeous decorations and amenities. Do yourself a favor and get a room with a sea view...you will be so happy every time you look out the window. Their restaurant Luna is incredible with gourmet and fresh dishes served on the stunning terrace. The location is stunning and quiet and a little set away from the hustle and bustle of the city center, with easy access to town right outside the doors. The staff are just beyond professional. Each and every staff member made us feel welcome and special. They go out of their way to make your stay as perfect as possible...and it was! STAY HERE and be so happy with your stay in Positano!…

We stayed in the family suite and were not disappointed. The views were spectacular and the individualized service was as well. The breakfast service was a great way to start the day with a lot of choices and delicious food. It’s a steep climb/descent to the waterfront as it is for most places in Positano but it was perfectly manageable for our family. We would gladly stay here again

Villa Magia was a dream! We stayed in the three story three bedroom villa and it was absolutely amazing! Worth every penny. The hotels extra touches were amazing. When you arrive, they provide you with your own iphone with direct communication to the concierge 24/7! Breakfast (included) was served on our patio everyday and was absolutely delicious! The views alone from this hotel make it worthwhile! Can not say enough about this property! The staff was incredible (shout out to Salvatore)! They helped us make reservations for dinner, beach chairs and answered any and all questions we had. Our chef tasting dinner at their restaurant was outstanding! Magical place!!!!

Villa Magia was a wonderful secluded resort perfect for relaxation and natural beauty. What the hotel looses in being small and slightly short staffed it makes up for in the quality of each member of its team. Everyone, particularly Gileppe went above and beyond to match any request we had whether it was making sure breakfast was ready at the exact time we requested, recommendation and reservations for restaurants, and booking us a massage at our preferred timing. The facilities are extremely nice, I particularly enjoyed the electric toilet, the sauna in our room, and I had the best massage I’ve ever had. The complimentary breakfast was delicious! Highly recommend the fresh squeezed OJ, Bacon, and French toast! The only point of opportunity for hotel Magia are leaving more water bottles in the fitness room and having a little bit more staff by the pool to provide water and other drink requests. All in all it is a beautiful property with a wonderful team that made for a great five star stay.…
