The pool was fantastic, nice view over the valley. Clean and well maintained. The hotel had rooms with and without see view. All rooms seems to be OK, ours was. Nice personnel, very friendly. The breakfast was good, but they could have explained that you can order extra from the menu.

Me and my husband just got back from Elba, we stayed at this hotel for a week for our honeymoon. The bar staff and breakfast staff were very pleasant, although a man who worked on reception desk was not, my husband asked for 2 coffees for us 1 afternoon and was told simply 'no breakfast is finished' apart from that... This is a great holiday hotel! We had a bungalow between the main building and the pool with a lovely shady terrace. It was very clean and comfortable and all we could have asked for. The hotel is situated just above the town, it's only a 5 minute walk away with lots or bars and restaurants to go to. There's... More

The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are large, clean and the bed comfortable. The breakfast is typical italian and a little bit to simple for a 4* hotel - but it's still enjoyable; croissant, white bred, cereals, canned fruits and a lot of sweets. The pool at the rooftop and the restaurant terrace is fantastic and... More

We went here for the second week of our honeymoon and loved the hotel. We had a nice (albeit small) room with sea view. The hotel itself is in a pretty setting and has a lovely pool with loads of deck chairs. The staff and in particular the waiters in the restaurant are really friendly. Breakfast is really decent (they... More

We had a room on the second floor with a big balcony overlooking the Golfo di Procchio. The hotel made arrangements with one of the places on the beach, so you can use the beach facilities at slightly reduces prices. The beach is great, with good swimming water and nice sand. The hotel has good rooms in the main building,... More

We have just arrived in Elba for a four night stay at Hotel La Perla Del Golfo. This hotel is in the lovely small town of Procchio. We were welcomed with a very helpful, professional and kind reception. In particular, I would like to mention Elisa, who was excellent on our arrival. I have been in touch with her prior... More

We stayed in a family room for six days and found it an excellent stay. Great and very friendly service and the "just friends animazione" entertaining was very appreciated by our two children. The pool area was very nice and the location of the hotel perfect, overlooking the bay. Finally the food was excellent with a variety of choices each... More

Words cannot express how much my husband and I adored this hotel. We arrived in Elba on a whim intending to stay for two nights and ended up staying for 5! The Positives: 1. The staff is fantastic. We literally showed up at the hotel as random travelers and left as friends. Really. We invited a member of the staff... More

We stayed at this hotel for 4 days with our 1yr old son. The hotel is ok, but nothing special and definitely not a 4*. The rooms are quite old, esp. the bathroom which definitely needs renovation. We stayed in a sea-view room which also meant it was overlooking the main road in the town so we heard traffic and... More

“I had room 204, it was sidewards to the street, but still calm and from the balcony you can see the sea a little bit. I recommend you a room in the 3rd floor with a chance of better view. Floor 4 is on the rooftop in bungalow style with no or little view. People going to the pool walking by.”
