Definitely the best place to eat in the whole area.
I had been missing from the grove for several years and in the past I had lunch there during skiing days.
Monday, August 26 I thought I'd get on the Aremogna and we had lunch here.
The waiters very kind and very prepared.
Fantastic lunch!
They gave us a welcome entrèe with a savoury ferratella with cream cheese and a slice of delicious salami.
The first delicious and the proposal decidedly to our taste.
It's not a cheap place but it's worth all the money spent.

I have been staying here with my partner and my baby since December 30th.
The location is super excellent... especially for those who have to ski or accompany the child to the ski school (as in my case)
The hotel is comfortable... the rooms are clean and welcoming... the only big flaw is the lack of a mini bar with some drinks... a couple of bottles of water for a 7 day stay, I would have expected them...
The jewel in the crown of this hotel is the restaurant... the food is nothing short of excellent and the restaurant staff are the icing on the cake. The meter is a professional like no other... serious, elegant, available and above all a person who knows what he is doing and how it should be done... and his very strong team. Polite, welcoming, nice guys, never out of place....we almost always had lunch and dinner there just because being with them was a great pleasure...you felt at home 🏡
The only real big flaw is the management of the baby club...the hours and the entertainers were not at all "convenient; ...I expected a little more.
Despite this, I will return here because it is beautiful and because the food is excellent and because my child felt at home.

Truly excellent.
Availability and kindness for an exquisite breakfast with a view of the mountains. Very good tart, equidistant for celiacs, really compliments.
The sound of the wind caressing the trees, priceless.
Not going there is a great shame.
Congratulations to the managers 👏

8 of us spent half-term skiing with children in the Alto Sangro ski-area which can be accessed from three main car parks (Rivisondoli, Pizzalto and Aremogna). The ski area claims to have 120km but this is not in one joint-up area. I would guess that the main ski area accessible from the hotel has around 90km and is excellent for intermediate skiers and beginners with only a few black runs for more expert skiers.
Hotel Boschetto is very conveniently situated 50m from the slopes in Aremogna. The service was excellent and all the staff very accommodating and friendly. We had organised this trip ourselves from the UK and the hotel was able to arrange a transfer from Rome Airport for all eight of us which saved us having to hire cars and to brave the Italian traffic. The transfer took 2:15h.
The rooms are small and a little dated but clean. The absence of proper showers in some rooms is a draw back but the Wellness Area has a nice pool with showers in the changing rooms. The food was plentiful and very good although possibly a little on the heavy/rich side. A little more fresh fruit and vegetables which had not been fried would have been nice. Definitely not the place to go if you want to lose weight.
All in all a very good holiday in a very nice hotel and the skiing for half-term was excellent with none of the crowds one can experience in the Alps at this time of year in particular since Half-Term coincided with the Carnival season in Europe.

We are Italian living in London and we come every year for our sky week. I used to come when I was a child and I haven't been disappointed coming back. Very well organised, kindness and professionalism throughout, superb food, perfectly located just a stone throw from the slopes. It's family run and you feel it. My children adore coming here and have lots of fun. Highly recommended.

I work in the hospitality business from sometime and I must say that the hotel Boschetto is very well organized. The location is spot on if you skying. Is a very good tre stars, clean and with nice public areas. I am used to alpine ski resorts but I am very happy to have visited Roccaraso. The starters are good the main dishes are not very tasty. I have not managed to taste "specialita' Abruzzesi". I must say that the whole resort lack of nice " Après ski" where to have a break or lunch. I will certainly be back and I recommend to others.

Hotel Boschetto is a nice hotel on the slopes, the communal areas, bar reception and restaurant are all very well appointed, immaculately clean and the staff are more than helpful, polite and efficent, We rented skis from the shop attached to the hotel and got good quality equipment, well maintained at a very good price - I had my own skis, got a bad scrape on the bottom repaired, edges sharpened and a full clean and wax for €14 - fantastic.
It is also worth a special mention to the bar prices, most hotels on the slopes are very expensive , beer, hot chocolate etc. In the case of the Boschetto, prices are more thn reasonable, a few euro for a beer and a couple of euro for soft drinks and hot choclate etc. Add the bowls of complementary snacks into the equation and you have a very good deal indeed!
The food in the restaurant is fantastic, a wide selection in the buffet breakfast with something for everyone, dinner was wonderful, a wide and varied buffet antipasto and 3 or 4 choices for pasta and main. All in all an excellent standard
If there was one tiny fault, it would be the rooms can be a little tight and the bathrooms in need of some modernisation, they were clean and well presented but they did not reflect the quality fo the rest of the hotel - however, if you are considering booking another hotel based on my comment about the room, dont! You definitely will not regret booking a stay in this hotel!!
