This is a charming hotel with lots of character. There is a lovely garden at the front with covered seating and play area for children. The reception staff were so friendly and welcoming. The location is perfect for access to the train station and the town. Large rooms and modern bathrooms with an elevator to all floors. We have really enjoyed our stay here and happily recommend it. Also good restaurant nearby.

Great stay at the Hotel Alexander, would give it more stars if I could, Erica, Evita and Letizia were friendly, helpful and professional. Great location, walked to everything, parked onsite for a small fee, good breakfast and beautiful old Italian setting. Would come back here again and again!!

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. They were inherently unhelpful when we needed their assistance. We recived a very poor level of service. I would advise avoiding at all costs. It is unfortunate that we felt it was required to leave such a review however the owner was not forthcoming with any form of assistance to the matter.

Nice hotel very close to Ariston Theatre. A typical Italian hotel, with a very nice architecture. The breakfast buffet was quite good. The bed comfortable, while the hotel wi-fi (in my room) seemed to be very bad. The door of my depandance had only a lock with key, so I did not feel as safe as in other more modern situation, I dare to say. The personnal was very nice and kind, but the reception open only until 22.00. They leave you the key but from a 4 star hotel I think at least a reception until midnight is better.

A traditional hotel well situated for all amenities. Lovely garden with a sense of serenity despite the hotel being on a busy road. Nice continental breakfast in the garden each morning. The attentiveness and the friendliness of the staff really shone through. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Located centrally in Sanremo, close to the railway station, bus terminal and beach. Plenty of good restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. The staff at the hotel went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible, especially Erica. We would highly recommend this hotel. Well done Hotel Alexander. Easy walking distance from the railway station, about 10 to 15 minutes. Walk out the front of the station , turn right, when you come to the roundabout turn down corso garabaldi street.

Lovely hotel with very helpful staff, including parking our large van for us. Pretty garden, which I guess is great to sit in in the summer. Rooms were clean and well-equipped. A very central location so able to see some of the area in a short space of time. Thank you!
