Clean, comfortable, pleasant room; family-run hotel in an excellent location, close to all the attractions. Very good advice from the friendly, caring family members running the hotel. A wonderful place to spend a short-break in San Remo.
We stayed for four nights on the third floor in a room with sea view. The room was very clean and had nice looking furniture, fitting with the overall style of the hotel. The breakfast had many different kinds of fresh pasty and the coffee was served to the table. The location of the hotel is very good, on the south side you have the beach and on the north the city center and old town. The owner of the hotel was very friendly and genuinely seemed to care about the hotel guests’ comfort. All and all the stay at Belle Epoque was very pleasant and we would come again.
We only stayed for a night on a way back from Venice to France but we were very impressed by the beauty of the place and most of all by the hospitality of the owners - it felt very personal and warm. The room was very comfortable and had all the amenities needed, including bath products and slippers. Breakfast was excellent and incredible value. Note that there is no elevator, so rooms with the sea view are upstairs, with a quite a staircase to climb. Then again, our suitcase were taken upstairs and down for us - much appreciated! An excellent place to stay - I recommend it without any reservations!
Such a beautiful hotel. Lots of period furniture. Staff very COVID careful. Currently the preordered breakfast is served in room or at table in the salon downstairs. There’s max of 3 floors without lift, they offered to take our bags up. Kettle and accompaniments in room. Hair dryer too. Excellent double glazing completely blocks any noise. Good air con. Plenty of toiletries and BIG towels. 2 minutes walk from the big car park. Less than 5 minutes to the bears bike hire place. Will definitely be back!
During a year I spend time in dozens of hotels, but hardly have I ever been so thoroughly satisfied with a stay as here. Check-in by a young man at reception was friendly and easy, he also helped us carry the suitcases to our room in the third, the top floor. We had a room, as requested, with a seaview and we were very happy with that choice and to be able to watch from the bed and through the window the sun rise over the sea. The small hotel - with 14 rooms - is located at the western end of Via Roma, one of the busiest streets in Sanremo. The room was not very big, but everything was so well arranged, that one felt very comfortable in here. It had a wardrobe with plenty of hangers, a writing desk, light on both sides of the bed, enough sockets for plugs, good WiFi. We particulary liked the fact that the furniture was in the same traditional style as the whole hotel. The bath room was fine too with enough storage space by the marble washbasin and toiletries by 'Fattoria di Belcanto' from Milano. The place is run by a charming lady of French origin, who makes one feel very welcome here. She is also present at breakfast on the ground floor, where there is an enjoyable buffet with fresh fruit, orange spremuta and other juices, all kind of sweets, jams, honey, yoghurt, cheese, cold cuts, but also bacon and scrambled eggs. The high quailty coffee (cappuccino, espresso or americano) was made separately and brought to the table.…
This is a very nice traditional family run hotel close to the centre of Sanremo. The rooms are very large and have all of the amenities you would need. Good bathrooms, very nice coffee and breakfast. there is safe parking on the road outside, free overnight, payable during the day. Would stay again.
Fantastic hotel. Really I don’t want to recommend it, because it will packed next time we want to stay there. Nothing much of a fancy hotel, but it has a staff (best we have met), rooms where all works, good breakfeast and a reasonable price. And situated in the middle of the town. This was only for information. Stay away. It’s ours and we will back!
We had a great two-night stay at the Belle Epoque. The staff (family members) were friendly to a fault and the hotel is impeccably clean and well decorated. We also happened to get a room right on the Via Roma, which was nearly at the finish line of the famous Milan-Sanremo bike race. Bonus!
We stay in this hotel for one night. The hotel is well located near the main pedestrian street in the city. The staff is exceptional. They are very friendly and try to help in everything. The check out time is at 11.00 but they suggested and allow us two stay till 13.00 for our convince. The breakfast is very good as well. It is really very good hotel to stay in Sanremo.
This little hotel was priced right and the service is above and beyond! They are happy you're their guest and everything is clean and comfortable. We stayed here twice coming and going on the riviera. The furnishings are classy, the beds were comfortable. The shower was nice as well. Sanremo is a fun, friendly and beautiful old town and this hotel is the perfect hub! We rented their bikes for 7 euro each and went for a 24 mile ride along the coast. Two big thumbs up for this boutique!
