We stayed one night only, short but very pleasant stay. The owner and staff extremely welcoming. Room small but confortable and bathroom spotless clean. Airconditioning works after 5 pm. Breakfast was above expectations, with home-made pies as extras.
There is a small and cute pebble beach 3 minute walk from the hotel. The area is safe and quiet with a few restaurants around and Sanremo town center is within easy reach.
For off-beat track dining experience, try Osteria La Madonnina, recently renamed Da Alfredo - restaurant for locals, not tourist, no printed menu but the owner lady who only speaks Italian will tell you what is available. We ate home-made pasta, it was delicious (just be ready to pay high price but that is Euro to you :-) - the experience is worth it

Straightforward review? The place is a gem if you are into simple but spotless hotel. I got the room under a special rate courtesy of the Institute of International Humanitarian Law. For 50 Euros, the room comes with daily breakfast. There is no variety but I could not complain because I always enjoyed breakfast.

I was billeted in room 16 and the place could be quite noisy at night. Sounded like someone is breaking glasses every night and the neighbor's dogs are constantly barking, which is cool because I am a dog lover.

There is soap in the dispenser, towel is provided and toilet paper. You have to bring your dental kit, however.

The room I got has AC, and tv. Wifi is also fast. The owners personally attend to the guests which is lovely. They helped me bring my luggage to the second floor. They don't have a lift but it's fine because they assisted me in carrying my things.

Over-all, my experience was memorable.

I needed a quiet and simple place to stay for one night, at a reasonable distance from the train station, to start on a railway journey. Hotel Corso offered a modest room, which fitted my needs (and helped me to avoid unnecessary spending, which is quite a thing in this rich town). The room was clean, the bathroom was good, the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. I spent a quiet and relaxing night. It is about 2 km from the city center, which is really lively and enjoyable. Near the hotel itself are some bars and shops.

This hotel is just ten minutes walk from the station, and very easy to find. The staff are very pleasant and show an interest in their guests. I like the choices available for breakfast which includes many home made items. For the price I paid, I think that the quality of the room was acceptable.

Look, it's not flash and rooms are old, however staff is extremely friendly and service was excellent. Breakfast was plenty with quality coffee as per order. We only paid €6 for breakfast but easily worth ten euros. Very cheap and therefore deserves nothing but 4 stars minimum

The staff, from the man who waited for us until 1:00 AM to check in to the lady who helped us during breakfast were exceptionally friendly. We were especially thankful that we could check in at that late hour especially for a hotel of this size.

The family room we occupied had very comfortable beds and the toilet and bath was very clean.

Breakfast was nice in a bright airy room.

Wifi worked very well and was for free.

There is private parking behind the hotel but it's good only for two cars.

I stayed there one night, which was okay. Good value for money. Helpful and friendly staff. 24 hr desk. Good buffet breakfast. Good, free internet in the rooms. Clean. Close to the marina. Not so good points: Noisy from the busy road outside. Thin walls between rooms. Very small shower. An old building, so to be expected.

We had planned a road trip round Italy and managed to fit in the Monaco Grand Prix at the same time. Obviously Monaco itself was either sold out or 10 times the normal price so we looked over the border in Italy. San Remo is a good location for this as you just need to get a bus to Ventimiglia and then a train from there to Monaco.
The hotel itself had everything you needed, clean room, bathroom, hair dryer, good breakfast and the staff were all really friendly. If you are driving we managed to find some parking spaces a short walk from the hotel but don't expect to park right outside in the summer season.

Only down point was that on both mornings the glass recycling van came and emptied all of the bins on the streets and it was so noisy! This was at like 4-5am! But this can't be helped...

wanted to visit San Remo and have a nice bed to sleep in after we slept several days in the car. We searched for cheap hotels in San Remo and found Hotel Corso. A small hotel in the center of the city. Not the most modern look but a nice small local and family driven hotel. When we checked in we realised that the hotel staff was very friendly and helpfull. The smiling young lady behind the counter handed us a couple of keys so we could look at the rooms and choose the best before we cheked in. When we have choosen the room the father of the family helped us with out luggage to the first floor - Nice service !. They even helped us with a parking spot in what I think was their own private garage with a lock on at night. Overall a nice and very Italian local hotel with a very helpfull and extremely friendly staff.
