I booked this hotel via booking.com for a family stay of 3 nights at the end of October. I made this booking many months in advance. 2 months before the scheduled stay, the hotel asked me via the booking.com app to book a different period, several weeks prior to the scheduled period. An absurd request, as if people simply could re-schedule a planned stay by a couple of weeks, just like this. I declined, and my reservation was confirmed. 2 weeks before the scheduled stay, the hotel told me via the booking.com app to cancel my reservation. THEY didn’t cancel my reservation, but asked ME instead to cancel it. Reason: The hotel alleged to close the establishment for refurbishment works. Which is most likely a lie, given the fact that they tried to get rid of me weeks before already. They simply needed the room for someone else, maybe someone famous, or someone paying more. It doesn’t matter anyway. Even if it would be true, it would be a joke to cancel on hotel guests who did a valid booking. I was tempted not to accept, but at the end I cancelled, as I didn’t want to stay at a place who treats its customers this way. I had to find a different hotel for me and my family, and at this stage (shortly before the stay) I had to pay double the price I would have paid at Hotel Paradiso. I cannot recommend to book a room at this place. Too risky they won’t hold up the reservation.…
We booked a room for one night & then we decided to stay one more night because it was so lovely. We had a big room with a big bathroom & very nice balcony in the front overlooking the pool & sea. Amazing, friendly helpful staff. On site parking. We will stay here again.
My partner and I stayed for 2 nights in this lovely hotel. Friendly staff, beautiful pool with a fantastic view from our room (306). Just 2 minutes walk to the beach, 5-8 minutes walk from the local town and restaurants. For couples this hotel is quiet and well appointed, hard wood flooring in the rooms and lovely and clean. We will certainly return!
This is near the beach and historic town ;it is an old building in need of refurbishment but my room was clean with all I needed and the staff were polite and friendly ; I had great scenic views from my balcony in a large room ; the only downside was a steep road up the hotel and the food in Christmas week was bland and flavourless and many guests ate out at the local good restaurants ;
Enjoyed a very romantic few days at Hotel Paradiso this past July. Small boutique hotel, right by the beach, nice sized pool, very big rooms in comparison to these type of hotels. We felt comfortable, safe, and happy. Miss the breakfast buffet and gorgeous gardens.
Apparently this is a 4*star hotel, so I'm not sure whether the standards in Italy are that low or what, but it's 3* at best. Looks good from the ouside, you can see that the building has its history. Location is fine, close to the sea and the casino, a bit of a walk to the city center. Hotel has a private underground parking, which is quite useful (though you have to pay 12 EUR per night). Staff friendly and helpful. The interior is outdated, one can see that it used to be an elegant hotel, but now it looks outdated and in need of renovation, the style is rather heavy, very traditional. All of that would be ok, if it wasn't for the rooms. They desperately need renovation, cause they make sad, ugly and dark impression - it was nothing like the ones you can see in the official pictures. Bathroom extremely small, with broken shower cabin door. Strange breakfast, with lots of sweets (cakes and pastries) and very limited choice of other food. …
The hotel is a bit outdated and Sanremo city is unfortunately rather worndown and noisy. The room was big and ok but the air heavy and dusty. We were promised a seaview, but mostly overlooked the roofs of buildings between the hotel and the sea (= room 104). The waiters in the restaurant obviously were most interested in serving the hihgerclass clients. Good beds and overwelming morningbuffet !
Can’t see this is a 4 star hotel. We had a room turned against the pool an see, it was very little, and the bathroom was very very little, It was okay clean but the interior is old and outdated. The garden is closed. The pool is small and old, but it is clean and there is always free sunbeds. The “privat” beach is not so privat, everyone Can buy a place - the hotel has some reserved sunbeds, and they are free of charges for hotel guest. The restaurant is very nice, the staff friendly and there are a pleasant atmosphere.
This is a lovely hotel just up from the seafront in Sanremo. Some of the rooms face out to the sea. There is small pool at the front of the pool which is very clean and well maintained. Our stay included passes to one of the beaches including two beds, an umbrella and a cabin. The rooms are very comfortable and very clean. The hotel is quiet and staff welcoming. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of food. It is a bit of a climb from the road and as we were travelling by train we had to climb at last once a day.
Little gem of a hotel. Immaculately clean - every single member of staff welcoming, efficient, polite and caring without being intrusive. Peaceful outdoor areas - pool area also spotless. Close enough to main centre for everything needed. A little bit of Italian paradise is Hotel Paradiso- aptly named. Well done Paradiso.
