We had a four night stay in San Remo and chose this hotel because it was in a wonderful location. It oozes history and still retains some of the old world glamour. Our room was sea view and the scenery was beautiful. The air conditioning and wifi in the room was very much appreciated!! The hotel staff are very professional....

A fought night we spent there my wife and I. It is a very big hotel and I guess therefor also hard to keep clean. Our towels were changed every day and our bed was made, so it always looked clean an fresh coming home in the afternoon from the beach. The AC was left running so the room was...

I spent a week at this hotel while chaperoning a youth sports team. The hotel was built in the late 1800s, and is grand old dame. The rooms are big, the hallways and dining room also very big. What's lacking are traits of modern hotels, such as an outdoor patio for dining. The lobby bar was never open - although...

After one very uncomfortable night in another hotel we decided to find elsewhere to stay for our last 4 nights in Italy . This hotel n San Remo came up with a fantastic special rate so we booked one night , packed our bags on moved on from our original hotel What a contrast! Our room was large, spotlessly clean...

By looking at the pictures of the hotel on websites you will never guess what you'll actually find in reality - an unbelievable piece of architecture, historical place with its own taste. The hotel was built in 1860's and you can still feel it. Main areas, including facade, dining rooms, library and bar are very elegant and beautifully decorated. Highly...

It's a terrible place. Don't be fooled by the four stars. It hardly has one. Here are some of the highlights. You have to pay to use the sunbeds at the hotel pool... The minibar contains two bottles of water... Why bother having one at all? And the breakfast is a sad mix of canned fruits and dry bread. The...

Yes yes yes, if you want to experience the authentic atmosphere of an neoclassical building and interior, this hotel is a must visit! The rooms are super spacious with high ceilings and beautiful furniture; big mirrors and comfortable armchairs. The large bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was refurbished but still had a grandour feel to it with marble...

Great Building . Ok Pool area. The House needs a complete Renovation. The rooms seem like Stuck in the 80's. Breakfast has no 4**** Standard. Protected parking provided. Staff is friendly . Worth 100€ a Night inkl. Breakfast. It seems like it was a popular Grand hotel in the 70s' but they did not move on into todays hotel Standards...

When we entered the building I was put off by the early '60s Indian-like themed decor they had going on in the lobby. It was also really cold in the lobby which threw me off. The staff was exceptionally friendly though and the price for a last minute walk-in wasn't so outrageous, and after viewing both rooms with or without...

The Londra is a carbon copy of so many hotels in San Remo. Almost palatial in its architecture, grand public areas with (very) high ceilings and a strong sense of what and who might have passed here in years gone by. Whilst we were a little taken aback by the rather indifferent welcome we received from reception at check-in, this...
