In fact we are dealing with 4 star hotel. And for this category my rating is VERY GOOD. Only staff cares about the premium and 5 * hotel feeling, nevertheless at some points it is just over the top. It's not necessary. Not to mention free water, cookies and towels changed twice a day - this is important.
The thing that struck me the most: for this price, breakfast is charged € 20 per person.Luxurious from the outside with a well-kept garden. Similarly, in the main routes, such as the lobby or the hall - done sumptuously and elegantly (glamour). The rooms are well equipped however the bathrooms are another story. Bathroom without tiles. (walls and floor painted with oil paint). Behind the wall (mirror image) you can hear your neighbour from the room next, playing in the bathroom, as well as any flushing of water manifested by loud gurgling in the sinks and bidet (it can wake you up in the middle of the night). Lack of the gym, or bathroom without tiles (walls and floor painted with oil paint). It is not at this level.
Plus: good location and free parking.
do not be tempted by "promotional" cooperation with the beach. They will charge you more than you go alone and rent sunbeds.

Stylish hotel, relatively recently renovated, nice garden and pool, unfortunately the staff is unfriendly (this may change if you arrive in a Italian sports car), from beginning you do not feel welcome at this place, starting with a unfriendly valet parking guy and ends with checking out and waiting to get your car again.

Mind you, if you like to get served at the terrace bar at night, don’t forget to wear your golden Rolex and sunglasses, otherwise you wait half an hour until the waiter comes, telling you that the bar closes in 20min and he can not serve you anymore.

I guess (my opinion after the stay) the hotel likes more to be dedicated to super extravagant people, so even you can easily afford it, don’t calculate with service, beside you dress like a clown or drag queen.

But understand, since they are special, you need to be special as well.

This hotel is exquisite. It’s minimalist style is breathtaking, the breakfast dining room is adorned in white murano glass sconces and chandeliers. It’s so relaxing. The breakfast buffet is gorgeous in its presentation and everything was delicious, there’s nothing lacking.
The rooms are very clean and nice and there’s ample drawer and closet space. The bathrooms are heavenly and the soaps are super luxurious. It was our 4th visit to San Remo and we enjoyed every minute!
The hotel has bicycles available and this is a FABULOUS amenity. We also spent the day at the hotel’s beach which was sooo convenient and delightful. I can’t rave enough about how warm and accommodating Elizabetta was to us. She made sure our stay was 100%perfect!

This hotel has been a disaster from the moment we tried pulling into the lot and couldn’t even get them to open the gate (which happened several tunes during the stay). The service at breakfast is non-existent; have ordered coffees four times five times before they finally were served (staff brings orders to random tables and asks if it is theirs.) Room keys seem to « expire » every day - we have been unable to enter our room at least once a day and had to go back to the lobby to wait for someone to be available to reset them. Just had to have staff let us in w their pass key as they have tried to reset our keys three times today and they still don’t work. So tomorrow after breakfast we will again have to have staff let us into our room. Seriously a dreadful experience all around. So much more - but I won’t waste any more of my time.

I just want to thank everyone at miramare for the most incredible trip.

As soon as we reached San remo from nice we were treated with the best service the whole stay. Although the rooms were small and there was no restaurants in the hotel, the staff made it up by being incredibly kind and wonderful to be around. They helped plan every minute of our trip; where to visit what to eat there and everything we could do. Our trip wouldn’t have been the same without them.

Elizabeth ,who still checks on us weeks after we left the hotel, always planned with us in the morning and even helped us book our next hotel. She was the sweetest and made sure our stay was perfect. We couldn’t thank her enough. Venessa the manager, assisted in us in every way we needed and was also helped us so much. The breakfast staff were also incredibly kind and made the food perfect. We will look forward to coming again! Thank you so much for everything! - Al jallaf family

Simply a luxurious hotel, beautiful service. attention to detail and wonderful breakfast. Immaculately clean and modern with decor.
The staff were exceptionally attentive , helpful with places to visit and restaurants. Simona a waitress at the hotel who was kind caring and deserves a special thank you for her contribution to our holiday.
We would love to return at some point with the rest of our family as Sanremo is a great town to visit.

Probably the most greedy hotel of Liguria. We paid €250 per night and to our complete chock, the hotel wanted to charge extra to use the pool and its surrounding sun beds. Yes, you read that correctly. For me and my partner, they wanted €70 extra PER DAY for using a sun bed by their pool. I advice you NOT to stay here. Seriously, go somewhere else.

Moreover, the chances are you will, just like me and my partner, get a room at the remote, separate part of the hotel which you access by walking across a large parking lot, meaning it's not even connected to "the palace" you see on all the images.

Having driven all over Europe for 3 weeks my wife and I arrived at this beautiful and well appointed hotel. Attempting to check in at 1.45pm I was brusquely told check in was not until 2pm. No assistance was offered with our luggage or directions for parking. We adjourned to the poolside bar for a cooling drink a beautiful setting thoroughly ruined by loud droning ‘Muzak’ and pigeons landing on the tables to help themselves to the nibbles. I enquired about the Wi-Fi and was given the password but could not connect- I was told a technician was working on it and they would get back to me - they never did. After several enquiries about our room we eventually got one at 3.15pm (so much for 2pm check in !) no apology forthcoming. I was told that the drinks we had would be complimentary. The assistant who showed us to our room was polite - however when I enquired how to turn the air conditioning up he told me it was centrally controlled downstairs and he would attend to it. When he had departed I discovered the control unit and adjusted the temperature myself !
When we checked out the following morning, the same front of staff were in attendance - again no offer of assistance with luggage, they tried to charge me for the complimentary drinks ! No enquiry as to how we had enjoyed our stay. So I saved my breath and have written directly.
It is a shame that such a wonderful looking hotel was so disappointing for all the points raised but particularly the rude, indifferent, arrogant front of house staff whose attitude seemed to be that they were doing us a favour and certainly not offering a service

The hotel is beautiful and all - but what a deceptive bunch of thieves.

They charge extra to use the pool lounges and the beach access is not their beach and again you’ve got to pay extra. And it’s not cheap either for them!

Any normal hotel gives this all included. It’s just disgusting and they should be ashamed. Especially as this was all hidden prior to checking in. Had I known I never would’ve booked this place.

STAY AWAY UNLESS YOU LOVE HIDDEN CHARGES.

After our disappointing Hotel stay in Levanto, we continued to Sanremo.
We spent 3 days in Sanremo and stayed in the Miramare The Palace. The hotel is just gorgeous. The hotel is located in a perfectly renovated former Palace, equipped with all the comfort you would expect of a 5 star luxury hotel. We liked the modern art tastily distributed in all areas, the furniture, the bar all decorated in the best of taste. On arrival we just dropped the car key with the concierge and the holidays started. While checking in, the car was parked and the luggage was delivered to the room, just perfect.
The rooms are a pleasure to look at, spacy and comfortable to live in. The bathrooms are most modern and equipped with all possible amenities. The staff and personnel are extremely friendly, helpful and attentive. We got such a nice room with sea view and balcony, which made it hard for us to leave the room. The breakfast was an indulgence of fruits, cakes, international and Italian food. The breakfast at the terrace with a beautiful view and perfect service was just a pleasure. We will certainly return.
