My name is Patricia and I have a B & B in the hills near the golf course ,, in a very quiet place, with a large garden with sun loungers and shower, swimming pool of 6x4 meters., In the countryside and with stunning panoramic sea views. We are only 5 km. From the center and from the sea, in a few minutes you are in the city center, with shops and supermarkets, the beach and the bike path. The two houses have been recently renovated, maintaining the charm of old stone houses, the rooms are all double with en-suite, and we have a suite consisting of 2 bedrooms for 4/5 perosne with large bathroom. Our breakfast is served outside in fine weather, cone consisting of homemade jam with fruit from the garden, home-made cakes every day, croissants, cappuccino, espresso, juices, yogurt, fresh fruit, and if you enjoy it even meats and cheeses and eggs

The beautiful Environment and the love for their customers make it a very Good choise!
The breakfast is very Good with their own made jam and fruit of the Garden!

We recently stayed here for 3 nights with another couple. Ca' di Pigai is up on the mountain above San Remo, about 5 km and a 10-15 minute drive from the city. It would have been difficult to find without a Sat Nav! The road is a twisty climb upwards to the B&B which is high up on the mountain. On first sight it is an unusual place and there is abit of a walk from where guests park outside the front gate to the point of arrival at the house itself. There is a nice view of San Remo and the sea below.
We were greeted warmly by the owner Patrizia and their dog Fred (we met Sergio her husband the following day). Patrizia was very friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived.
Our rooms were located at the side of the house with a private entrance. We shared a bathroom with our friends. Our room was beside the kitchen where the meals were prepared. Our friends room led out to the front and the large shared bathroom was in between (it would mean if we wanted to go out early in the morning we would have to go through their room, however this wasn't an issue for
us). To be honest we would always prefer our own en-suite but it worked out ok on this occasion. The rooms are clean and adequate. There was no daily "turn down" service or change of towels. However this was reflected in the price.
Breakfast was served on the terrace area which is very nice and a good place to relax before heading down to the centre. The breakfast was nice.
Patrizia is a very nice person and is happy to spend time chatting with her guests. Patrizia provided any information that we asked for regarding San Remo and even gave us samples of her olive oil.. a very sweet person indeed. Also Fred the dog is a playful Alsatian and he is always there freely roaming around his home place,
ready to greet the guests.

Ca' di Pigai is up on the mountain above Sanremo, about 5 km and a 10-15 minute drive from the city. It is a bit hard to find, unless you look for (and find) the signs pointing to San Giovanni. But it is in a very calm, quiet spot, with a great view of Sanremo and the sea below. And Patrizia, Sergio and their dog Fred are very kind and helpful. The rooms are clean and pleasant: three rooms in a separate house, sharing a common kitchen (plus another building that we did not visit). Breakfast (tea, cappuccino, homemade crostata, lemon cake and jams made with fruit from their garden) was served in their house, because it was cold out, but when the weather is nicer it is served outside on the (very inviting) terrace. Highly recommended!

We've been in the hotel 1 week ago (April 2012) and we had four great days. In respect of the rooms, the house and the garden everything has been equipt in a personaly, lovingly and very elegant style. However, you will find a lot of beautiful hotels but Patricia and her husband (and the breakfast) make the difference:They are very obliging and extremly frindly, take care about you and try to fulfill your whishes. I enjoyed the days with them and felt like been at home.
Back to the breakfast: The best I ever got and I am traveling a lot! Everything you want and more!
Unbelievable. We'll come again, for sure!
Cheers Robert (Germany,Munich)

Warm welcome, lovely place and wonderful view on the sea. It's very quiet, far from traffic jam and the noisy center. 10 mn drive and you are in the heart of San Remo.
The breakfast is a real meal with home made delicious pies. The bedrooms are very neat and you feel like being at home, it's very nice. You can enjoy reading, trekking or sun bathing around. I strongly recommend this sweet and lovely B&B.

It's a perfect place to relax and join the great area of sanremo. The lovely prepared Breakfast has been served on the garden terrace which offers a great sea view. The very nice rooms/apartments and the hospitality of the owners make you feel immediately home. It was a fantastic weekend, unfortunately just too short. I really can recommend this place to everyone ( family, couples, groups, etc.)
The location is perfect for traveling around and discover the area. The owners are very keen to make you stay even more enjoyable and are open to give you advise.
Thanks for this! It was great staying with you.

Very nice appartment above Sanremo about 5 km down to the city. A little bit difficult to find. Very quiet with a great view of Sanremo. Three double-rooms in a separate house, sharing a common kitchen. Breakfast was served in their house. Perfect for hikers and other excursions in the mountains. Highly recommended! I am very happy to be back.

We stayed in this B&B with our friends. It was an interesting and enjoyable experience. It is a bit outside the centre of San Remo and getting there was indeed quite an experience. The road that leads to B&B is quite winding, which makes for the interesting experience. But it is worthwhile! I found the B&B very cosy, the hostess Patrizia is a lovely and very helpful lady. The rooms are adequate and Patrizia does serve a very good breakfast. The homemade jams are great! The B&B is on quite a large section and there is plenty of room to relax in the sun (there is a lot of that in San Remo) and enjoy the view. And not totally unimportant either: the price was good too! I would definitely go back here.

A bit hard to find up a twisty climb above San Remo and Thank you to the Sat Nav.
But once there the rooms were very nice and delicately decorated etc.
Nice views of the area.
Breakfast was very nice in a lovely room (but normally you would be outside)
And the owners were very pleasant and spoke some English and I could have chatted to them for some time.

When you go once in Ca di Pigai, then you go back. It was the 'th time that we went to this lovely sweet B&B in the hills. The place is beautiful, you have a wonderful view on the hills and the sea. The breakfast is unforgettable, Patrizia bakes especially for you. You get a warm welcome and Patrizia and her husband make your holidays a great time. They tell you all the best restaurant around. Don't wait, just go.
