This was the only shortlisted hotel we managed to book for our stay. When we arrived, we discovered they had no porters to help with our luggages, especially when their car park was a tight squeeze outside the hotel building. The bedroom was a good size- the sea view was appreciated but we did not expect the noise level from the busy continuous traffic to be so loud and so distressful! All through the night as well!! There was only 1 waste bin in the entire room- one more in the bedroom would be helpful. The bedroom was clean n spacious but no frills. Well located to explore the city and to access restaurants. Bring your own umbrellas.
As the hotel's carpark was full we had to leave the car in the public parking outside just along the sea. The position is really good if you want to use the beach and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. There's only one lift there so being on the top floor was a bit of a pain when waiting for the lift. There was a bit of an issue with the key as at one point it wasn't working and due to miscommunication it took a while until we could enter the room after having been to the beach. Really nice rooms though with lovely view and a great large bathroom. The breakfast I can't fault.
This is a fantastic hotel. Clean, quiet, comfortable rooms and amazing service at every level. The beds and pillows are top-notch and we woke every morning relaxed and ready for the day ahead. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. Every request was met with a smile and seen to straight away. We made this our base for a rather long stay and would gladly come back.
The receptionist was extremely rude and unapropriate , I dont understand how a palace hotel would have such rude staff , I will not accept paying for a room and being talked to in such manner , if I wasnt so tired from the drive i would of walked out. We wont return due to how rude the staff was . Pathetic attitue .
This hotel is just disgusting. The room we stayed was dirty.: The shower us full of mold, the mirror was not never cleaned . Unfortunately we check in very late and we did have possibility to look around for better place. The clerk on the front desk is just a joke. He doesn't have even clue about customer service. My recommendation to avoid this place.
We had a stop over in San Remo and stayed here. It was very convenient being only about a 10 minute walk to the main mall and the room was nicely decorated with a small balcony. It’s about a 25 minute walk from the train station. For our brief stop, I couldn’t have asked for more.
We were very happy with this property. They upgraded us for a very small upcharge to a beautiful room that looked out on the water and was incredibly spacious. Nice beds, large bathroom. Breakfast was served in a very nice space with balcony tables, ample food selection. Marco was very helpful with all our questions. I would stay here again!
My friend and I stayed at the Lolli Palace for two nights. The room was comfortable, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was quite good. We were across the road from the beach and in walking distance to bars and restaurants. It’s dog friendly too.
I stayed in the lolli Palace during late July with some friends, I found the staff and hotel great, the position was just off the beach with car parking at the hotel being busy but a paid car parking area on the beach side of the road, the hotel room we stayed in was had a beach facing view on the upper floor and although an older hotel my stay was great! We had some local question which the friendly staff were pleased to provide answers, terrific breakfast in a lovely morning room with access to the belcony to sit and enjoy the start of the day!
If you are looking for a time machine and like panoramic views then it's a perfect place for you. I would like to say "Grazie mille" to Giulia, Marco and Alessandro for their kindness, professionalism and hospitality :) Location of the hotel is quite convenient, so you can enjoy picturesque promenade towards the old town, which is superb for pictures. A little remark, there was no music at the restaurant neither during breakfast no at dinner, it would have created magical atmosphere if you guys added some classic tunes, such as Vivaldi, Verdi or Chopin. I was inspired by the interior design of the accommodation and moreover, there is a nice terrace on the fifth floor, be sure to check it out ! It gives you a wonderful view over the town :) Best of luck, Grazie mille
