Not many rooms where you walk in and there is a two person bath in the middle, already filled, ready to just sink in. if you like the traditional Italian Riviera feel, you'll love this hotel. And the staff are very friendly to make it even better
Only stayed here one night. Friendly staff, and good breakfast. Sanremo is too much Mediterranean slump tourism. Fast furious and no personality. Great bathrooms, all worked fine, but noise from corridor a bit of a bummer when the room next door decides to get the whole family up by 5 am, including knocking on doors etc
Stayed for five nights. Staff was nice and welcoming. Service was good and breakfast was more than satisfying. However, rooms style is outdated and bath facilities clearly needs refurbishment. Having said all that I muat add that VFM is not bad.
Staff were somewhat approachable..good facilities in room - appreciated the fresh towels and products, close to train station (5 min walk) and water front (5-10 mins). Decor was fairly good - nice atmosphere in room - it did have a little too much netting draped in the room for my liking - we got caught up in them every time we walked into the room. 🙂 Rest of hotel was homely and had fresh flowers everywhere 🌸.. it maybe was a little cluttered though! Thanks for having us! 👍🏻
Nothing bad to say, we stayed one night, good location, very helpful staff, the hotel itself is gorgeous, very good gluten free breakfast (best one I had so far in a hotel). in the afternoon we went down to ask for a cup of green tea, they brought it to the room, with a rose on the tray, a couple of biscuits, few tea bags etc, it was lovely. We found out at the end it cost £10, so might need to be careful if you're planning a long stay. But for one night it was just perfect!
After one week of sailing me and my husband stayed at Eveline for 2 nights. We choose this hotel because it's close to the Portosole marine. The building is almost 70 years old and has a nostalgic feel - it's very nice and romantic. Our room was beautifully decorated and had comfortable bed - it was a time when one double bed was actually one double bed :) The lobby, the breakfast room, the garden are in vintage style. Breakfast buffet was good. In my mind the hotel is a bit overpriced, but the area of Liguria is expensive and 4 stars hotels in Italy are all old and overpriced.
A warm welcome from Christian, assistance with our baggage and ultra clean, stylish rooms made an instant and great impression. A very unusual property, clearly with an intriguing history. The bar and former restaurant area where you can sit and read, or just chill, is like walking into a mini hotel museum, so if you a fan of the Most Exotic Marigold Hotel or the Grand Budapest Hotel movies, this would be an ideal hotel, the staff are lovely and clearly quite proud of their hotel, some of the silver pieces on display are fascinating.. The room and was very comfortable. The breakfast in the downstairs breakfast room is both a surprise and a delight, do not miss it, superb.
I found the staff very helpful, but not under your feet. The breakfast downstairs in the quaint breakfast area was served up everyday with a smile by Ivana. Not just your traditional cornetto, but eggs, vegetables, fruit, Cereal. A huge selection, everything fresh and of course, cappuccinos, espresso, and American coffee. We had a lovely room, with a terrace, immaculately clean. Reasonably priced for high season. I will stay there again on my next trip, which will be soon, as I feel in love with SanRemo.
This hotel is a little old fashioned and in need of an upgrade, however it was good value for money. I would not rate it as a 4 star hotel, however. First of all the good points where that it was convenient location, close to the station and the new marina. It was also very clean, the beds where comfortable and the staff where friendly. The air conditioning was very good as well. Breakfasts where good and the coffee excellent. However, I did not like the fact that the ensuite part was at the window in front opening by glass doors. The window looked onto the main road outside. IT was also very cramped. I also found the décor a little too much. Although there where a lot of soft furnishings the walls where bare white as well. There was a corner bath in my room which I did use while I was there. The breakfast room was also cramped and was downstairs in the basement yet there was plenty of room in the lovely area on the ground floor. If there was a 1/2 I would rate this hotel 3 1/2.…
Hotel seemed a bit old fashioned, but turned out to be nice. The staff was VERY welcoming and the rooms were always clean and ready for me. Downside - the breakfast wasn't too versatile, I could hear what's going on in the corridors from the room and the wi-fi signal was really weak. Overall, a slightly above average score.
