Prices are where they are because of the level of the hotel. Building itself is fantastic and located beautifully in Sanremo. The public areas are lovely too. Rooms are clean and housekeeping staff are very polite and accommodating. But the small of things can be fixed and improved: no additional plug sockets for your electrical appliances. Shower shelf is way too high and only shower gel provided (no soap, no shampoo, no conditioner). Hair dryer is way way out of date. Closet still has those old hotel hangers so you don’t steal the hanger. One window missing entire curtain so no privacy. Sofa bed is not a sofa bed and shouldn’t be used for 3rd person. Mini bar fridge doesn’t even fit in the mini bar cupboard so just dumped on the side. Worst of all: heating gets switched off at night and AC unit not working. They seem to be cutting corners here and could do so much better. Shame…
Hidden in a quiet location one street back from the seafront this is a lovely hotel with helpful friendly staff. Nice gardens and handily there is parking on site for a daily rate of 8 euro. We had a spacious double room with seaview and balcony which was excellent value just over 100 euros including breakfast. Spotlessly clean. Breakfast was very good and unusually for Italy included bacon and eggs as well as pastries , fruit , ham and cheese etc
Amazing Location, Clean, Comfortable Parking, Breakfast. Tiziana & Martina from the front desk amazing girls. The personal from de restaurant cordially. The beds and the bathrooms comfortable. Very good services. 100% recommend !!!!
A most comfortable stay at this hidden gem in San Remo. Close enough yet far away enough to avoid the motorcycle din which is synonymous with Italian coastal towns and cities. First class front of house staff and a fine breakfast fayre. A return to San Remo will be this traveller's second stay at this gem.
Nice hotel in good location near to the station but heading out of town in wrong direction. Easy to walk into town or to the beach nearby. Lovely big modern rooms with English language TV stations, roomsafe, fridge and nice bathrooms. We didn’t have a great room as no view, whereas most other rooms had balconies or views (disappointing as I had requested a balcony) Hotel has a lovely spa with jacuzzi and sauna etc but very disappointing that it cost €15 per session to use, despite paying over £125 / night for a room - this is a very bad practice and I’m marking the hotel down accordingly. If I had known this was an extra charge I may have chosen a cheaper hotel. Breakfast was ok but choice limited and service was slow due to Covit as a waiter served the buffet. Staff did not seem geared up to needs of customers and service could have been massively improved with a few small changes. (Coffee pots instead of waiting for waiters to bring half filled cups of coffee) There was a really nice sun terrace on the roof but a hot tub would have been a welcome addition, sadly lacking. We hired bikes from hotel which was the highlight of our stay in Sanremo. Overall the hotel was very nice but could easily have been much better. …
I chose this hotel because of the spa and the wellness center.. when I arrive there I asked about this and they told me that today is under construction so tomorrow at 2 will be ok. The next day after a poor breakfast (no coffee included you have to pay for your coffee) they told me that will be a little bit later about 5 so I went for a walk to the city and go back to the hotel before 5 to have the time to take some rest as they promise that the spa will be open at 5.. and then oh there is no spa today.. tomorrow if you want... But tomorrow I'm leaving...also I asked for a room with a double bed and they put two single stroms and tell me that is a double bed... So I will not recommend to anyone to stay in that place.. to expensive without the facilities that they promise... Also you have to pay this prices for the wellness center not only 15€…
A nice building, spacious rooms but basic amenities in the room, it says amenities, but no hair conditioner, only shampoo and a bar or soap, pretty basic in this day and age. These weren’t replaced daily and had to ask for more, a simple thing which should be in the room as a standard. Bottles of water weren’t replaced daily either, nor were plastic cups or supply of coffee, all standard stuff for a 3 star hotel. Quiet location far enough away from a busy city. The breakfast was ok, quite basic, staff serving in breakfast could have been a lot of more welcoming and friendly. Parking right outside the front of the hotel which is great.
What was good: Parking on site Beautiful building Spacious room - basic though clean - with large windows and balcony Breakfast What was bad: Not the warmest reception compared to other places we stayed Hair dryer broken Had to ask about our room service order an hour after it was due to arrive We asked for an iron and ironing board - the board they gave us was absolutely shocking and should never have been given to a hotel guest. Broken to the point it would fall over, full of holes, just shocking. It wouldn't cost much to replace it, giving it to paying guests in that condition is ridiculous.
We got an upgrade so we were really happy. Nice hotel, friendly staff, breakfast is correct but spa is too crowed, no staff on sight to clean up around, jacuzzi pool is cold and sauna/ hammam a bit smelly. We had free bicycle rent to go around San remo, very nice stay!
My partner and I were passing through this part of Italy and decided to stop for the night- this hotel was one of the cheapest available on the site for our criteria ---and we were not disappointed! It was a beautiful place- the room was large spacious and had modern amenities. Phone in the room was a great little extra that helped us to find a restaurant for the evening; the aircon worked really well which is often not the case with alot of hotels. The bathroom was super modern, towels and soaps that were offered were of high quality. The staff were friendly and brought us up ice buckets with no issues. But the highlight of the trip was.... THE BALCONY! What a view! Not only was the balcony itself HUGEE, it had a lovely little table and chairs and a beautiful view of the gardens of the hotel and the sea. Cannot recommend this room enough we had such a beautiful evening sitting and talking on the balcony. Its not often that you can say that the room was the best part of the location of a trip but in this case- the room really was! This hotel really does have it spot on- fantastic nights stay, thank you and if we are ever back in the area we will be paying you another visit :)…
